What does AHH do other than promote industry artists? The reason those sites are getting shut down is that they arent part of the machine. If you are sponsored by Interscope or Def Jam you don't have anything to worry about.

This is pointless though and 10 years too late. You can rip any song you want straight from Youtube and the industry lost that case Already.

That's what i've been saying, they are not fixing the problem. The software and hardware is still out there to pirate music and movies, who are they going after next, Sony, Toshiba,etc for making burners and blank disc. It's too fucking late now, you cannot fight technology and progress.

Word. China has gone to amazing lengths to censor the internet and it hasn't fucking worked. Any Chinese computer user with a spoonful of computer skills can easily slip past "The Great Firewall".

I can't make a case for J. Cole but Joe Budden laid an egg with his first album. They said the same about dubbing tapes and burnin CDs. This too will pass just like they will. bootlegging was mostly going on in the innercity the hood which is only a small percent

of record sales. You dont see bootleggers on the burbs where the bulk of the sales come from.

as far as budden goes in 2003 budden 1st album( his worst album) sold 500,000 copies. his last album 35,000

rick ross current album teflon don is at 312,000. you cant tell me the internet buzz is making up the difference.

hell canibus sold 300,000 back in 99 when ppl were dubbing. and now he cant even move 5,000 records. downloading has had 30 times the impact as

as dubbing.
