That's fine if you say they're equal (still dont think theyre comperable)but rape is an emotional thing and I'm sure it's emotional for the person getting accused of rape falsely. Otherwise if it weren't about emotion why would anybody even give a shit that they were falsely accused of rape if they got off? Why would they care about anybody thinking anything? Of course if there were consequences with it that's you can take the emotion away, but if it was a falsely accused person, and as someone pointed out earlier, even if he got off he was still feeling upset. I know I'm real late to the topic but I really don't like speaking about the rape subject because it's a lose/lose situation.

Both are equally terrible offenses imo. I can't imagine what rape victims go through on a physical/emotional/psychological level being ashamed to speak up in some cases out of fear of being judged or embarrassed. Then on the other side for those who are wrongfully accused is even worse because in those situations dudes can get locked up for years based on a lie by a woman. Then years later that same woman can confess that she lied or it was the wrong guy. Being accused of rape can take a serious hit on a person's reputation if they have very much to lose in the process.

Like the guy who was a football star aspiring to go to the NFL out of HS/college. He was messing with some broad who claim rape on him and he lost a few years of his life because she lied about being raped. Then years later it was found out she was lying.

Another story I read came from some girl off IG said she was raped by a guy that she was volunteering with (not really sure) over in Africa. Said she was raped in the shower by him. The catch to the story is she was kissing on the same guy she didn't know like that then she changed her story and said she never got in the shower. This story was going around twitter and some people were questioning the validity of her story because the lack of judgment on her part. Then feminist twitter started trippin b/c of this. That's why I don't like speaking about a lot of topics on twitter because those group of women think that everything women do is right even if they dead wrong.
