Moore Suggests Jewish Philanthropist George Soros Is Going To Hell

Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore on Monday suggested that George Soros, a Jewish Hungarian-born billionaire and philanthropist, is going to hell.

“No matter how much money he’s got, he’s still going to the same place that people who don’t recognize God and morality and accept his salvation are going. And that’s not a good place,” Moore said on conservative Christian radio host Bryan Fischer’s show.

Moore on Monday accused Soros of “pushing an agenda.”

“His agenda is sexual in nature, his agenda is liberal, and not what Americans need. It’s not our American culture,” he said. “Soros comes from another world that I don’t identify with. I wish I could face him directly, and I’d tell him the same thing.”

Fischer worked for the American Family Association, a group the Southern Poverty Law Center categorized as an anti-LGBT hate group, until the group distanced itself from his extreme positions. Moore in November blamed “the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender who want to change our culture” for the flood of sexual misconduct allegations that numerous women have raised against him.

GOP Sen. Flake Donates To Democrat Doug Jones: ‘Country Over Party’

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) on Tuesday donated to Alabama Democratic Senate candidate Doug Jones hours after President Donald Trump doubled down on his support for Republican candidate Roy Moore, who stands accused of sexual misconduct.

“Country over Party,” Flake tweeted, along with a picture of his $100 donation to Jones’ campaign.

Hours earlier, Flake sat next to Trump as the President predicted that Moore, who numerous women have accused of sexual misconduct, will “do very well” for Alabama.

Trump also boasted about “unity” within the Republican Party. Flake, who announced in October that he will retire in 2018, has been an outspoken critic of the President, appeared to react to that claim with discomfort.

Sadly i think Roy Moore is still going to win (and boy i hope im wrong)

As hypocritical as it sounds

For an evangelical christian to vote for abortion and gay marriage is unimaginable, but they can vote to forgive a "fellow christian" and i think thats how its gonna work and we may not like the looks of it , but thats how it will play out down there. Their motivations are different.

The fact that Steve Bannon and The Republican party really re endorsing him shows they are confident in him winning. Irregardless of how we coastal people, twitter folks and Late Night TVs cry , it is what it is. It just Visceral and tribal shit.

Yep, i think he will too, will be very suprised if he doesnt

He will win. Probably in a landslide. The religious right runs this country and he brings up God every five mins. Plus it's the deep South. They aren't letting CNN or the NYT tell them what to do. They will vote the other way just to spite them.

Republican Party backs Senate candidate Moore: official

(Reuters) - The Republican Party will resume funding the U.S. Senate campaign of Roy Moore after President Donald Trump endorsed the Alabama Republican, who is accused of sexual misconduct involving teenage girls.

The Republican National Committee had transferred $50,000 to the Alabama Republican Party in support of Moore, an RNC official said on Tuesday. No RNC staff have been deployed to the state.

The state party can use the money as it sees fit, the official told Reuters on condition of anonymity.

Later on Tuesday, an RNC official said a second transfer for the sum of $120,000 was made to the Alabama state Republican Party on Moore’s behalf, making the total $170,000.

The RNC cut ties with Moore last month after several women accused the former Alabama judge of sexual assault or misconduct when they were teenagers and Moore was in his early 30s.

Moore, 70, has denied the accusations. Reuters has not independently verified the reports.

On Monday, the White House said Trump had called Moore to give him his support. In a tweet that acknowledged the president’s endorsement, Moore quoted Trump as saying: “Go get ‘em, Roy!”

Report: Trump Believes Moore’s Denials Of Sexual Misconduct

President Donald Trump has told confidants that he believes Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore is innocent of the charges of sexual misconduct made against him by multiple women, the Daily Beast reported Wednesday.

Citing unnamed sources close to the President — including an administration official and a friend of Trump’s — the Daily Beast reported that Trump believes a purported inscription from Moore in a yearbook belonging to Beverly Young Nelson is a forgery, echoing the candidate’s talking point.

Nelson has accused Moore of sexually assaulting her when she was 16 and he was an assistant district attorney. Leigh Corfman told the Washington Post Moore initiated sexual contact with her when she was 14 and he was 32. Others accuse Moore of pursuing relationships with them when they were teenagers. Moore has denied all wrongdoing.

“This is not something he’s struggling with,” one unnamed senior White House official told the publication, referring to Trump’s belief of Moore’s denials.

In November, White House Director of Legislative Affairs Marc Short said of the President: “If he did not believe that the women’s accusations were credible he would be down campaigning for Roy Moore. He has not done that.”

In the subsequent weeks, Trump did in fact endorse Moore by name and advocate for his election. On Friday, four days before the Dec. 12 special election to fill Attorney Jeff Sessions’ Senate seat, Trump will hold a campaign event in Pensacola, Florida, less than an hour from Alabama. AL.com reported that his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, sent robocalls inviting Alabama voters to the event.

On Tuesday, a reporter asked White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders how the President “reached the conclusion that all of Moore’s accusers — including those who have put forward evidence — are lying.”

“Didn’t say they were lying,” Sanders responded. “The President’s position hasn’t changed; still finds those concerning.”

Asked for comment by TPM Wednesday, Sanders did not respond to say whether she stood by the remark.

Roy Moore: America Was Last Great When Families Were United, ‘Even Though We Had Slavery’

Just when you thought the Alabama Senate race couldn’t get any uglier or insane, a potentially pro-slavery quote from one of the candidates resurfaced on Thursday. And, yes, it is from embattled GOP nominee Roy Moore.

Back in September, the Los Angeles Times did a lengthy profile of the Alabama GOP primary runoff between Moore and incumbent Luther Strange, who had been endorsed by President Donald Trump. Buried down in the article was a description of an interaction between Moore and an African-American attendee of one of his rallies.

Just read it for yourself:

In response to a question from one of the only African Americans in the audience — who asked when Moore thought America was last “great” — Moore acknowledged the nation’s history of racial divisions, but said: “I think it was great at the time when families were united — even though we had slavery — they cared for one another…. Our families were strong, our country had a direction.”

Yep. It certainly appears that the ex-judge is making the claim that America was better when the country had slavery.

Roy Moore Supporter Call African Americans ‘Stupid’ For Not Voting Republican

Ahead of next week’s much-anticipated and highly watched Senate special election, prominent Republican pollster Frank Luntz traveled down to Alabama to arrange a focus group of twelve Roy Moore supporters. Luntz pressed the group of voters on their support of the embattled candidate, who has been accused of initiating sexual contact with a 14-year old girl when he was 32 and attempting to rape a 16-year-old.

After the conservative voters dismissed the allegations against Moore by claiming it was all a plot hatched by Democrats and the mainstream media, all while believing all the accusations against former President Bill Clinton, Luntz moved on a discussion on race. Namely, he wanted to know why he was unable to find any black voters for his focus group who supported Moore.

One woman claimed that Alabama had rid itself of all racial problems after the ’80s and it was only when Barack Obama was elected that race relations got worse. When other women said race relations in Alabama aren’t that bad and why does everything have to be about race, Luntz explained that 97% of African American voters were going to vote for Democrat Doug Jones.

“Does that not concern you?” Luntz asked the group, leading to one woman to say it did but it only showed that Moore didn’t do a good enough job campaigning.

“So why aren’t they voting Republican?” Luntz countered, causing an older gentleman to say it was because “they listen to people that have influence over them.”

The GOP pollster then asked the man why black voters don’t vote for conservative candidates if they’ve been so destroyed by Democrats and their policies. And the answer he got was absolutely shocking.

“Well, in my opinion, they be stupid,” the man said, leaving Luntz stunned. “If you vote for somebody that’s making you worse and worse, you call that smart or stupid?”

This was followed by another voter wondering aloud why black voters don’t support Moore because they should be against illegal immigrants taking away their jobs and abortion.
