Domestic abuse is a bad thing. It is however worse when a man domestically abuses a woman in my opinion. That does not mean a woman domestically abusing a man isn't bad. It just means the contrast is worse.

naw, that kid got his sentence because of money, status, privilege, and fucking networks...the general consensus has been and always will be that rape is a horrible horrible crime, and the time he got is fucking disgusting by any stretch of the imagination....

i did not make this thread with any agendas or motives, i just wanted to have conversation about something i felt that was the other side of the same coin that might be equally as bad, but not directly addressed..

1. You're right. That's why I was careful to say that this was PART of the reason. All those things to named are a part of the reason as well. But a big part of it is that, unless it's done under the most vile circumstances, tape just doesn't seem to be a huge deal to a lot of people.
