But these the same ppl who are first to question you about your lack of children. I think its a helluva lot more ppl out there who are envious of the child free vs those who envy ppl with kids.

I see a number of older people without kids these days. In America and every first world country with out of control cost of living. People saw their parents struggling to provide for them when they were growing up, and they decide not to have kids cause it's too much money. Problem is, you get these older heads that are pushing 40, with grey hair and receding hairlines, tryna bag barely legal chicks in the club and looking damn foolish with their skinny jeans and mohawks. Not having kids is OK if you have goals, but to act like a kid forever, is just bum behavior.

Im 28, no kids, just me, my lady, and the german shepherd. Love every fucking minute of it. Most of my patnas married w/ kids, & just shake my head when they cant get out the house cause they stuck playing Daddy Day Care.

if you dont want kids because you have goals, or are too young or not ready is one thing...

but for people who dont want kids because they are just selfish i never understood.

you are put here to pass grow, progress and pass along your knowledge and love so the next in your lineage can progress further.

too may people want to live it up and party without responsibility.

For all it takes to raise a kid, if a person doesn't want that responsibility they really shouldn't have it forced on them. Let that irresponsible person continue to be irresponsible. Nobody can be forced to grow up and mature, it's a choice and a child shouldn't have to suffer while someone is still in the process of making that choice or has already made the choice to continue to be selfish and live irresponsibly in terms of being responsible for the care of another life (their child).

but maybe thats the problem. some people dont want to grow up. it should be a few people here and there....but this shit is rampant. too many people see the fun in not being a parent and dont understand the long term effects of what they are doing.

i know for me i get pressure from my family and friends to have kids. esp. my mama she wants grandkid(s) so bad. she thinks she may never have any because i have no interest in having kids at the moment and because my lil sister is gay. i can easily go out here and find a woman. hit it raw and have a child. but i have to think about those consequences. my best friend has a couple of kids by different women. when we were younger i kept telling him to strap up. smh. he used to get "girlfriends" and smash raw. had one child he knew about and took care of. sometime last year one of his old girls from the 90s popped up and said the baby was his. took a blood test and sure enough it was his. plus all of the drama with the 2 other girls who he pays child support for. i don't need those kinds of problems. if i do decide to have kid(s) its gonna be with someone whom i trust and i know that if god forbid i'm taken away too early in this life that she'll be capable of raising our child(ren).

i see too many people having kids just because. just to say "hey look at me i got a kid." or to have all that attention with the baby shower and all the gifts. all that shit is fine and dandy but what happens when you're peacefully sleeping and your baby is screaming its lungs out and you can't get them to be quiet. i haven't become that patient yet. so i rather save myself the embarrassment and wait till i'm prepared mentally, emotionally and financially. shit kids are expensive esp. nowadays.
