This corny shit does NOT represent the culture. Dudes gassing horrible lines and reacting on cue even when nothing special is said is wack. These Traphouse NY (smh, I know) dudes stay gassing shit up heavily. Most of these PG dudes from NY have crews that are just as much a part of the show as the rapper b/c they wont STFU.

In the Prep battle it was more about laughing at him not with him. People are entertained by his colorful wackness but he isn't rapping well.

He posted several lines. I thought Budden's bars were weak, and again, I thought he had a weak angle.

Popular opinion by what standards? Every consensus I've seen on battle rap boards has Hollow winning 2-1. You can't win a battle off one round. Of course the Joe Buddens fans that don't know shit about battle rap support him. He's more popular so he might get more points from the masses, but I don't respect a consensus that doesn't know battle rap.

Couture was wack, she's like a low budget bonnie. The 3rd round gimmick was cool, but Official actually raps and has bars. Coutures bars were simple af, and like homie said earlier, it sounds like shes reading a fuckin book

"I see you like to hate from the sideline... thats my word, for someone who doesnt eeeven rap and looks strung out on crack you sound absurd,I could hop out this ring and toss your ass out on the curb,so please don't ignite me,you dont wanna fight me, yo pale ass better tread lightly, Heisenburg!".

What impressed me most is that he's actually added new tools to his skillset. I've never really seen Mook go for freestyles and in the moment rebuttals before, but he did that beautifully in this battle and incorporated it into his whole angle.
