Bottom line dallas was one pass away from winning the game and but it was over thrown.....no matter what his numbers are it only takes one play to fuck everything up

were we, or were we not winning that game by 14 late in the 4th quarter during that game??

Right with about 4 mins and some change left, if romo passes the ball right to austin the game is over.....but no it didnt happened that way romo over threw it which means the defense has to go out there again which they're at the point of being mad tired....like I said it all goes back to that one pass

Yeah Kitna minus his own mistakes sometimes was good at making players better...remeber Roy Williams?

And miles Austin was playing hurt the whole year

For the last time stop talking about a team statistic... Wins is a team thing thats why Cutler wins with the bears and not the broncos.

so we going to act like romo didnt go down the field the next possession to setup a game tying FG that was blocked

Romo couldn't even get in the playoffs when the team in they division only won 9 games.

Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Peyton, Eli, Ben, Ryan, Flacco, Vick, Rivers, Stafford, and maybe Cam.

That's 12 QB's ill take over Romo.

I'd take all of them over Romo except Ryan, Flacco and Ben...Romo and Vick is a tossup, but I'd take Vick cuz of the dynamic factor that makes defenses gameplan for him...

that still makes romo a top 10 qb..

the first 6 guys dude mentioned all have won a superbowl.. so basically romo is just in the next tier of guys.. ala not what some would consider 'elite'

if the cowboys win the superbowl this year, romo will be an elite qb easily.. yall actin like we're talkin bout kevin kolb or some shit

I think Romo is top 10 no doubt, but some niggas in here acting like he the best fuckin thing since sliced bread...I mean damn, he's good but not nearly as good as some are making him out to be..He's actually at 7 on my list...I hate Romo and the Cowboys but I was one of the 1st people to say that the season they had this past year was not his fault, cuz I actually watch the games and I'm a realist..Dallas' defense (mostly the secondary) was why they weren't successful...I'm a fan of the game and call it like I see it every time..

I'm going to give you a GOAT for that, even though you are a Giants fan. Finally I think somebody realizes the point that we have been trying to make. Something Vageneral08 doesn't seem to be able to comprehend.

I just watch the games and keep shit real, I love the game...On the other hand though I hate when ma'fuckas try to discredit Eli like he on some "game manager" type shit and always wanna point out the fact that we got a good defense..Well our "good defense" wasn't so good for 15 games last year, and who was constantly winning games in the 4th quarter when the defense allowed drives late in the game?? People always wanna pull out stats when they're convenient to make somebody look good, instead of watching the games and taking each play in it's full context...People will boost Romo and down Eli because of numbers but ignore the fact that Eli in the playoffs just set a NFL postseason record for passing yards 1,219 9td's and 1int...I can pull out stats to, but say for instance Tom Brady completed that hail mary on the last play of the game, it doesn't make Eli's stats any better or worse..Judge by their play on the field by WATCHING THE GAME...Bottom line, I don't care if somebody thinks Romo is better than Eli (we can agree to disagree) but there's gonna have to be a better reason than a funky ass 100+ QB rating..

Eli is just never gonna get the credit he deserves though, he's just not flashy like that. But to say Romo is a better QB than Eli right now is just fuckin ridiculous. I find it very confusing on how Cowboy fans swear they didn't have the team around Romo to be title contenders but all you hear from them going into every season is how they're gonna win the division or how they're team is better than the eagles, giants, skins. With that said fuck yo team and Kyle Williams. lol

Black went all out in this thread. Nigga said fuck just putting on the cape.. he put on the mask, the utility belt and got himself a sidekick at the same damn time. This is why you can't be taken seriously right now.. amongst many other silly posts.

Hes way better than Eli and Drew Brees is the checkdown king of allQBs Drew Brees offensive system has more to do with his numbers than him. Remember Brees wasnt shit with the Chargers.

Brees really is a system qb the guy throws over 30% of his passes as dump offs and had over 150 attempts more than the 2nd qb with attempts and the saints arent losing games which means atleast 1500 yds of his is bullshit. The saints pass gm is theor run game and his completion percentage ia bullshit too.

http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/06/29/three-years-of-deep-passing/

Brees is #1 in deep ball accuracy, yardage and touchdowns over the last three years. Like I said in the previous post, its easy to cherry pick stats to fit your agenda. Also, where are the comparable Romo stats? It is pointless to just drop random Brees stats the way you did. I guess I am to assume that Romo is well under 30% when it comes to dump offs?

And so what if he is a system qb (whatever that is?).. he works within that system flawlessly right?

i agree if we complete that pass then its over.. but thats just one instance in the game. yessss we wouldnt even be talking about this if he makes that throw, which miles admitted to losing in the lights, but thats neither here nor there. but the defense has to step up and make a play. romo made enough plays during that game, maybe didnt make the biggest one, but honestly without romo, we wouldnt even have been in that game

Hahaha! Yo, ya'll gotta move on fam, cut ya boy Kyle Williams some slack....But yea I always say the same shit, Eli isn't flashy and is very much an odd/nerdy dude, but he's a fuckin beast and fits New York and our system perfectly...I believed in Eli even before he won his 1st championship unlike alot of Giants fans cuz I saw the flashes in 4th quarters against Dallas his rookie year, Denver in 05 and the Eagles in 06...Don't worry San Fran will be back this year...We'll be there waiting again!

But....analysts are not football geniuses otherwise they'd be working for the organizations they have opinions on...so when those years they picked Dallas to be in the super bowl obviously they overrated them...it wasn't like it was a unanimous decision though and last year a lot of analysts had THE EAGLES winning it all and the cowboys going 7-9 - 9-7 so they getting it right now

Amani Toomer just came out and said Romo is better. When did I ever say Drew Brees cant throw it deep or in tight windows? All I said is he king of check downs and he throws in more than any other qb and the system helps him to be better than him. Drew Brees is a top qb but I think there are oher Qbs who can do what he does in that system. He is a system Qb its not like his arm all of a sudden got better after Tommy John surgery the guy had some talent around him in San Diego and couldnt do what he did in New Orleans if you cant acknowledge that your nuts. He had 150 more attempts then the QB with the 2nd most attempts what Brady did was far more impressive than Brees.

You also fail to mention brees turnovers...

No shit sherlock he shoyld be number 1 in all those statistics nc he forces more deep balls that means even if he throws picks its still not going to hurt his % throwing deep he has more attempts than amy other Qb so why the fuck would a really good qb who throws 150 times more in a season than any other qb not have more yda than any other qb. Drew Brees threw a bunch of deep passes in the Mia game where he threw 5ints... Romo has a higher yds per attempt than Brees. Did you know when you throw the ball you get more plays per game he throws it so much and that offense runs so fast its almost like a hurry up offense their games last longer than any team in the NFL and they do this shit for awhole 4 qtrs.

Win and losses are mostly based on that one player on a 53 man roster

A

QB is the most important player in any sport

Nope. The most important player on each side of the ball is the player in which the offense or defense revolves around. Anybody that *really* knows football, knows that ain't always the QB.

If that bullshit was true, Dan Marino would have at least 6 rings. Steve Young would have more than one ring as a starter, Phillip Rivers would have one, Tom Brady wouldn't have lost the last two Super Bowls to the same inferior QB, And John Elway would have won one long before Terrell Davis even graduated high school, etc, etc.

Ultimate team sport. Take that individual player shit to basketball.

By the way Sam Bradford was a pure system Qb in College and it pissed me off when people said he was better than Stafford. I called both Landry Jones and Bradford at both being potential busts in the NFL.

I feel bad for Jeff Fisher and all these Espn analyst that are fucking with him and the organizations head. Im really good at picking out what QBs will make it and who wont the biggest flaw with Bradford is his pocket presence.

OU made Bradford. He's by no means a bust yet (calling a player that won "Rookie Of the Year" a bust after his second year ain't exactly genius, bruh. Don't pat yourself on the back too hard.)

But the idea that he or 90% of the QBs taken in the 1st round the last 50 years can just come in and take a team with no receiving talent to the playoffs or super bowl is retarded.

That was one shitty rookie of the year... He really didnt look that good his rookie yr there where better candidates than him. Espn and every sports outlet pushed for him to be rookie of the yr I thought he was peetty bad. Hes no Cam Newton even with Stafford getting hurt I saw promise I see nothimg special about Bradford. I think Bradford is better than Kevin Kolb kind of I think his ceiling is Marc Bulger.
