This ngga

Why cant YOU comprehend the difference between 'enjoy an album' vs all-time rank.

Bruh, I 'enjoy' BP2, even KC. Im a fan, and theres redeeming qualities of ALL jay z albums imo

But in this case, yes, it is THAT far-fetched to me that this solid, good 'talk my shyt' album can even b compared to albums from the past when dude used to lay his soul onto records. 'You must love me', 'cant be life', etc. vs Tom Ford? Beach is better? picasso...Timberlake?...Nosir. I refuse. As a true follower of this rap shyt I feel its my responsibilty at this point. Lol Thats how oc this is gittin

Again, I LIKE THE ALBUM. But I will keep debating any body until either yall 1)admit your a youngin and/or.newer jay z fan, which is what I sense, or 2) yall come down off that 'new jay z!' high

Until then I will keep givin this work and you gon love it nh

Bruhhh ... Let it gooo

How you gone pretend like hov was pouring his soul into eveytrack when he has plenty of talk shit joints or club poppy joints on a majority of his albums throught his career ...

So we gone play like Vol I's

"Alway be my Sunshine"

Who ya wit

I know what girls like

Imaginary a player

Are some drastically different songs from a topical standpoint than the shit he's saying on this album ..cos you know he was just bearing all of his soul on that "you are my sunshine" jam ..lol

Dont play dumb. Yea he had singles n 'pop' records then, just like he got em now 'Holy grail, somewherein america, tom ford'

The difference is back then he was just a flat out better rapper. Period. Even on those 'pop' records. I.e., different album but go listen to a mainstream record like Jigga What. LISTEN to that shyt! Lol He fukin spazzed, and that was a mainstream record.

Now? '1 million, 2 million, oh im so good at math!' Foh ngga. Lmao

Bruh do u even realize some of these songs he's not even spittin more than 16 bars? BBC, fukwitme... HE knows he's not the rapper he once was. And its to be expected! Im okay w/ that, as long as yall stop goin overboard.

And he always gave those introspective jewels on every album, including Vol. 1. Lucky Me, Where Im from, You must love me...half of what we even know about dude's life story comes from those records.

This album does not have thse jewels which is the exact reason this album's high will wear off. I know it b.c i've seen it happen w/BP2, BP3, etc...

The beat switch by Premo on A Million Queastions>>>>>>MCHG

'mfers cant rhyme no more...'

You the only one playin dumb bruh ... Talking about he ain't speaking to his life story when songs like

Nickels & Dimes

JayZ Blue

Heaven

Oceans

Holy Grail

Are all introspective tracks dissecting his thoughts beliefs and current assessment of his life are right there in your face for consumption ..

You wanna take one lyric here and one lyric there to try an create a narrative about what the album is ... while conveniently ignoring everything else that's happening .....

That's Wack my brutha ...

But like I always say ... Do you... You said you like the record anyways right? I suppose that's all that really matters at the end of the day ... The nigga delivered a project that people like you and I can both enjoy ...perhaps in different ways as it seems

Not bad .... I'd make a change or two but overall solid rankings

I don't understand what's so surprising at people liking this shit, dope beats, nice cohesiveness and a great variety of songs, and Jay still spittin' even though his flow isn't where it once was, although it's still good.

my biggest issue with the album is the intro

the beginning sounds like one of those alex da kid produced, skylar gray or bruno mars or rihanna on the chorus cookie cutter bullshit hip-pop records that were everywhere around 2010,2011. the song becomes more tolerable after the first 90 seconds

and I swear boi-1da and t minus are the same person. their beats sound so similar. I thought t minus produced the fuckwithme track on first listen

F U T W is my favorite track hands down. Shit makes me wanna get a 4.0 GPA and celebrate in a Asian girl orgy while they feed me sesame chicken.

And the next song follows sooo dope.

Jay Z took Mase flow and lyrics on the first few Bars of BBC then used a play on words of name dropping him and reffering to his Madison square Garden incident with R Kelly. Jay is one of the best in the business at flipping others lyrics. LOL

Yo, what you know about goin' out / Head west, red Lex, TV's all up in the headrest.

Mase- Feel So Good Lyrics

well damn more biting huh or as u say flippin

4 and 6 are the best tracks on there to me. Blueprint and Black album are his best albums to me.... this album is down there with Kingdom Come and Bp3. I wanna hear him flow like lyrical exercise again.... guess it will never happen

Picasso kinda sounds like the intro off HHID, crown ain't that great on second listen sounds like shit Ye and Pusha are doing. I dig nickels and dime lyrics. jayz blue don't move me like "daughters" did.

Still 7/10

As an album, I like it more everyday...

I get it, I see it, for what it was supposed to be...

This nigga gave us a dope, very relevant, cohesive album at the age of 43...nobody has done this before.

And Jay even thinks its in his top 5....which I said on leak day...

He believes it's his 4th best album? Nah... I can give you a couple bars off AG that nothing on MCHG can fuck wit.

Now ya tumblin is humblin, ya fallin ya mumblin

Under ya breath like you knew this day was comin

Now pray that arm candy

That you left ya ex for stay down and come in handy

Nothing on MCHG, not even Heaven, has lyricism of that depth. Not to mention that AG was cohesive as fuck.

4th best? Nah.
