I've only heard 3 songs so far...Picasso Baby (dope), Holy Grail (cool), Tom Ford (wtf??). That Tom Ford joint made me cringe when I first heard it. Coppin the album today and crossing my fingers that no other tracks sound like that shit.

E.A.D if you saying kanye album was better that shit is way worse than what jay did on bp3 that ya'll hate so much. but what ever.....

Staying power/ Standout tracks

1) Oceans

2) On the run

3) FUTW

Bangers

4) BBC

5) Fuktiwme

6) La Familia- its just so grimey, i would even rate it higher

7) Tom Ford

8) Nickles n Dimes (one of the few truly introspective tracks; this will grow with time)

Nice

9)Heaven

10) Picasso Baby - 2nd half>>>>>>1st half

The rest are either interludes or get the skip treatment.

This album sounds much better than I expected. Although, this is the 3rd straight album he's giving the "old-nigga effort" in his flows. BP3 showed us the decline in his flow delivery.

As someone who was the tender age of 16 when I copped this single. I'm very proud of where Jay is career wise and musically. He's 12 albums deep, 18 deep including other projects. It's not even saying his best work is behind him as much as it's saying he has nothing to prove. He's now making music for himself and his fans. He doesn't need to sale anymore. He doesn't need #1 hits anymore. Records? all records are made to be broken but Hov has a couple of Legendary Hip Hop Records locked up for years to come. So "Magna Carta Holy Grail" may not be a Classic but this isn't LL Cool J on his 12 album still trying to keep his audience. Jay's fanbase has been with him and they aren't leaving. So from that 16 year old listening to "Dead Presidents" to this 33 Year Old listening to "Holy Grail". Jay has given me a lifetime of memories. Salute.
