Soul Rattler presents: "Every conversation about Jay Z's philanthropy"

Guy 1: Jay Z don't do nothing for his people!

Guy 2: He has college scholarship funds and foundations directed at helping people in need.

Guy 1: Those are just tax write offs. What has be done to contribute to other people's causes?

Guy 2: Hes donated to Artists for Peace and Justice, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Global Poverty Project, GRAMMY Foundation, Keep A Child Alive, Music for Relief, PlayPumps, Red Cross, Robin Hood, and Spring Hill Campaign for Adolescent and University Student Empowerment.

Guy 1: But...

Guy 2: And there was that Water for Life thing he did with the United Nations. And there was that 9/11 thing.

Guy 1: But that's just him throwing money at problems. He ain't actively involved!

Guy 2: Jay campaigned on behalf of the Barack Obama, was in Sanford, Florida with Trayvon Martin's parents, threatened to pull his line from Macy's after that racial profiling thing, and recently met with New York mayor about police brutality.

Guy 1: But he's a rapper tho. How come he never mentions us in his raps?

Guy 2: Hes mentioned Sean Bell, Danroy Henry, Fred Hampton, Martin Luther King, among others his records.

Guy 1: Name ONE record where he speaks on problems relevant to us.

Guy 2: Murder 2 Excellence, Minority Report, Beware of the Boys freestyle, A Millie freestyle, Stranded.

Guy 1: .... Why Jay always gotta brag about his charity efforts? Nas doesn't have to talk about his charity on records!

Lol@ niggas using jay electronica as a leverage point in this discussion like jay electronica out here rapping about having a "bucket of frozen water on his chest" and " my jeans is 300"...

What the fuck is Jay E gonna do? He doesn't have a increment of the monetary power that jay z has...

Jay z can definitely do more than what he's been doing..I hate words like "philanthropy"..Those are just fancy words snobbish white people use to make themselves sound like they doing something

Muthafucka uplifting humanity should come naturally when you see all this suffering in this world

But nah you satisfied with your idol jay z releasing another album bragging how much wealthier he is than you, rubbing that shit in your peasant face eh?

Soulless ass niggas

Shit, what are you doing? You don't need people with jay-z type money to make waves.

And just like that, he killed the thread with facts. Good shit, but it'll still be looked over. Jay would have to literally save black America and even then he'd be criticized for his methods. Meanwhile, these niggas so concerned with whether he makes a difference aren't volunteering at Big Brothers, 100 Black Men, hell or even tutoring little kids THEY know! Crabs will stay being crabs though.....

Fuck TIDAL too. Why pay for shit I can get free?

So, by "Fuck Tidal", what you really mean is "fuck all retail and digital outlets"?

I don't buy music at all. I see no point.

So you'll listen to men and women rap and sing, but you don't feel the need to pay them for their talent? Assuming you have a job/career, what if your employer/customers saw no point in paying you for your work?

If they could make me work for free, they would. Why? Capitalism. My employers don't care about me. lol This America, bro. You get what you can and exploit others.

Why would I feel the need to pay for your talent? Why? What does your talent do for me exactly? lol What return am I getting off of this investment? I'm offended that you feel the need to charge me for listening to you. lol

Then don't fuckin listen to the music. The fuck?

Hey, if you guys are willing to pay for something I can get for free...more power to ya. lmao

You better be bumming off of someone else's cable and WiFi, purifying your own drinking/bathing water, wearing clothes from Good Will, and stealing every bite of food you shove in your mouth.

Don't halfass your trife life.
