I truly believe our problem as a people is more financial base more than anything else. Just generation after generation of poverty and not establishing shit to leave for the next generation.
You're suppose to do better than your parents imo. Build on what they did.
Because we tend to waist our time impressing the neighbourgh next door and subconciously white supremacist.
What is the first move we do when we get money? WE BUY A CAR AND CLOTHES AND OTHER STUFF TO shine and shade on others!!
What are the Jews doing in the same situation? SAVING
INVESTING
NETWORKING
FOR THE NEXT GENERATION!!!
What are the asians doing?
THE SAME SHIT TOO!!!
AND THATS THE DIFFERENCE.
I wholeheartedly agree that we as black people need to do more long term growth planning for own lives and our families.
At the same time its hard for some black people to look at long term planning when early death is so prevalent to them.
Its not that folks don't want to do it. Many don't know how and with early death on their minds some look at it like I need to enjoy some of the fruit of my labor now because I just might not be here tomorrow for whatever reason. Thing that escapes many is that they can actually do both saving for the future and enjoy some of it right now. That goes back to some us not knowing how to actually save and grow money.
I understand both sides thought processes.
I do agree too bruh. But we cannot live under the umbrella of FEAR AND DESPERATION.
No matter what we have to built something positive for the generation. brick by brick!!
