*this can potentially be a long post*
I ain't condoning rape by any means and in hate a rapist, and that sick dude who rapes not for the pussy but the power, that dude can never be avoided and deserves death, but some of these party and people I trust rapes can be avoided with some common sense yo. word up.
how? since i am a woman should i not hang out with a trusted male friend or family member alone? should i not drink at parties with my friends?....
get what you are saying... but things aren't that black an white. and the majority of rapes are premeditated...
@desertrain10
I never said any of that. I said drink but moderately. Can a sober woman get raped? of course, but the chances of a drunk woman getting raped are much higher.
Not everything is black and white. At the end of the day, biologically men are stronger then women, and men are also more likely to succumb to temptation of sex. Is this right? no its not but its a fact. So why is it so wrong to protect yourself and exercise caution against something stronger.
If I lived in a place where everyone had a gun except me, and there was no way for me to get a gun, I would invest all my money in a bullet proof vest as soon as I can. Is it unfair that everyone has a gun but me? of course, is it right that I would have to live in an unfair world as so? not at all. but put me in that world and I'm gonna find ways to protect myself against those stronger then me.
Am I saying its the fault of women getting raped? not at all. Am I saying all rapes can be avoided? far from it. I'm just arguing the fact that women think its wrong to try to take protective steps to avoid certain things.
