Violent culture, yes...rape culture not so much. Rape is a crime you can be locked up for in some places simply based on the accusation with no evidence. You know any dudes who willingly hang around known rapist because I sure don't. That shit's not accepted even by other criminals, there's a reason sex offenders and rapists are typically kept out of general population even in prison, them niggas are walking targets to get fucked up or killed. Rape IS a form of violence, dumb ass: hence the term sexual VIOLENCE. We live in a rape culture that emphasizes objectification and continuing sexual violence--that is the definition of rape culture. I know plenty of people who have hung around rapists. Fraternity dudes used to rape women frequently as well as drug them on my campus: no one got arrested or even got a slap on the wrist. People stood by them and never thought they should be arrested for the shit they did. Other women frequently blamed the victims and basically excused the dudes that violated them sexually.

My mother was also raped at a very young age and her rapist was never put in jail. You don't know shit about my experiences, what I know or who I know that's been a victim. I'm a woman--I live with this shit every day and your Black ass doesn't have to. All you're doing is sitting there will your male privilege and being a condescending piece of shit. I never said any of that. I said drink but moderately. Can a sober woman get raped? of course, but the chances of a drunk woman getting raped are much higher.

Not everything is black and white. At the end of the day, biologically men are stronger then women, and men are also more likely to succumb to temptation of sex. Is this right? no its not but its a fact. So why is it so wrong to protect yourself and exercise caution against something stronger.

If I lived in a place where everyone had a gun except me, and there was no way for me to get a gun, I would invest all my money in a bullet proof vest as soon as I can. Is it unfair that everyone has a gun but me? of course, is it right that I would have to live in an unfair world as so? not at all. but put me in that world and I'm gonna find ways to protect myself against those stronger then me.
