if I was a psychiatrist

my hypothesis would be that there are many men who do not get the opportunity to express their physical desires with women and are forced to deal with the frustration along with being villified unnecessarily for having urges

women arbitrarily enforce double-standards and then wonder there is so much discord between genders

rapes are case-by-case issues, which is why we give every "offender" his day in court

my guess is most cats have a mom/daughter/wife and do not cosign rape...............but that doesn't mean they aren't willing to call women out for their hypocrisy

a women needs child support even tho the chips are stacked in her favor.......yet no woman ever admits that scenario makes women look like they need someone to protect them from themselves

If i did something foolish to get myself in a dangerous situatation i would take responsibility for that. I would not walk down the street alone, at night in the bad part of town unarmed with no knowledge of

Self defense methods and consider myself not at fault in any way or incapable of preventing my getting mugged. So why is rape treated differently?

Once again we camnot be held responsible for the actions of others but we have to accept responsibility for noninheret risks we take. Being a woman is an inherent risk that is no ones responsibility. Public intoxication is not.

it's one thing to take a proactive approach to protecting oneself, this is not what i'm arguing against. my only issue is, lets say a woman doesn't take all the precautions and something unspeakable happens to her, is what happened to her her fault now?

yeah there are things you can do to keep yourself safe, but if someone doesn't do those things because of naivety, unawareness, false sense of security, whatever, doesn't mean they were asking for it or lessen the gravity of the crime perpetrated upon them
