this is a funny thread. i remember project niggas would tell us niggas that lived in houses that we were soft because we didn't live in the housing projects. we were considered fortunate. niggas will always come at u like that no matter where you are from. its how we are. everyone believes that where they are from is the hardest place on earth.

as a parent i have raised my kids in the suburbs. the oldest is 22 and the youngest is 13. i did this because that's goal in life. move ur kids to a safe place. put ur wife in a nice house. cut grass and clean ur pool. send ur kids to good school and take them to parks and let them play while feeling safe. i hope that if someone approaches one of my sons and says ur soft cuz u are from the suburbs that they laugh. i hope they respond back and say nah my mom and dad believe in progression. right before they slap the shit out the mutha phucka.

Nothing wrong with the burbs either. Although some of them dudes are out of touch with reality.

Growing up in the hood doesn't necessarily make you tough either. It may make you adapt to adverse situations that some people may not due to the fact of their surroundings.

In a nutshell, fuck where from its where you at. And if you happen to be in a sub division or nice gated community, be thankful nigga. Your moms and pops did something right.

Most niggas from the hood is Leary of all white people. I have no white friends in my life. Not because I'm narrow minded or didn't travel. Shit I left the hood when I was 21.

But the thing is I didn't grow up with white people. The only white people I ever saw was teachers and cops. I know white people, but I don't consider them friends.

I say that to say this. The mentality of the hood dude and suburban dude is that y'all see the world as 1 big rainbow. We see the world as strictly black and white.
