i must say that im very disappointed wit u guys..

this has been the most civil debate that we've had to date..

fuck is wrong wit yall!!?

i blame me!!?

iv been too busy to instigate this shit..

wont FUCKIN happen again i tell u what!

I never understood the popularity of the DJ Khaled ‘You played yourself' meme until I took on this debate. If there is ever a sure thing during election season with blacks it’s a high Democratic turnout. Since Kennedy whom earned 68% of the African-American vote, Democrats have never seen their numbers drop below 82% during the election cycle post Kennedy’s win.

When campaign managers can predict the outcome of the black vote why bother campaigning for them? Why bother delivering promises for them? The Republican party hasn’t seen more than a 39% turnout since Eisenhower. So in this middle space we have Democrats who know they are going to win the vote and Republicans that don’t bother to campaign for us. When Democrats don’t deliver on these promises there is no party for us to fall back on.

In turn we are fed a cycle of victimhood, high unemployment rates and broken families. Blacks never hold onto their vote, the one piece of power during the entire 4 years they have to endure.

The repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act during Clinton's presidency is the last reason blacks have suffered from Democrats. Allowing banks to operate in the investment world and to stack the deck against those who couldn’t afford the loans they were given lead to the collapse of America's economy.

After all, banks are involved in every business, yet the only businesses that didn’t suffer on a mass scale were banks. Out of this fallout, the lending criteria has tightened and 20℅ of people applying for business loans are approved. Looking at Blacks they have a harder time securing loans at a measly 5%. Hispanics have a higher rate of 8% while whites had growth of 5%.

When small business are an indication of growth for the American economy but can’t be found, especially for minorities it’s no wonder the GDP is without growth. A president who cites growth as the private sector in IT and TECHNOLOG, the lowest groups on the totem pole will remain there.

Donald Trump during one of his rallies spoke in the blunt way that only he does to try to reach blacks on their situation.

“You're living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs, 58 percent of your youth is unemployed," Trump said at a speech in Dimondale, Michigan. "What the hell do you have to lose?"

However, his rhetoric while correct was redirected as prejudice, boneheaded and incorrect. While the facts lay bare that Democrats would lead the same way as they did the past 8 years, here is a man who Republicans ad Democrats are afraid of, an enigma. Reports of people defecting to the democratic side is a sign that change is about.

@Paprika......it was fun brother!!!

#RESPECT

I enjoyed the back and forth, haven't had a debate in a while, thank you for the opportunity.

Question should be "should black ppl participate in the political process period". When you mention democrat it implies voting republican is a better option in which they're not.

Both sides made some very good points.

It was a close one imo. I'm giving it to @"b'mer" . I think he was more convincing as to why blacks should vote democrats. @Paprika was convincing as well as to why blacks shouldn't vote democrat, but the only option he left blacks with is republicans. There are known knowns from both parties and at this point in time, b'mer made it clear that voting democrat is best RIGHT NOW, everything considered.

Why did you edit this? I noticed the pizza analogy you liked is no longer present. Are you having second thoughts on your vote?

The people want to know.

No, I'm not having second thoughts, I stand firm in my decision. After reading my reply there was much more I wanted to touch upon but then it becomes too damn much to read and all niggas want to know is who I voted for. So I decided to condense it so niggas don't expect a long-drawn-out reply in conjunction with my vote every time I vote.

That video shit backfired on b'mer. He ended up losing an entire round due to it and then a 2nd with him only saying 2 sentences, while this nigga Pap continued by dropping another big ass post with graphs and charts. I felt like the debate was fairly close prior to that point, then b'mer pretty much threw in the towel.

There were good points made by both on how each party has been beneficial/detrimental to the black community however this was the post/part that was the nail in the coffin imo, basically saying we can't put all of our eggs in one basket.

When campaign managers can predict the outcome of the black vote why bother campaigning for them? Why bother delivering promises for them?
