Is it really his responsibility to do anything about it?? America may have bombed Libya but it didn't make Libyans enslave anybody.

Wasn't his responsibility to worry about the kids in Syria either. Didn't stop him from his multi-million dollar air strike tho.

Ain't his responsibility to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel either.

Israel is an American ally and we are actively in a proxy war in Syria..... so obviously we would support Israel and bomb Syria whenever we think that's necessary plus anyway you look at it America isn't making Libyans enslave blacks.

Excuses.

Maybe you should actually read the US' state department website and see what they claim their policy to be:

Human Rights

The protection of fundamental human rights was a foundation stone in the establishment of the United States over 200 years ago. Since then, a central goal of U.S. foreign policy has been the promotion of respect for human rights, as embodied in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The United States understands that the existence of human rights helps secure the peace, deter aggression, promote the rule of law, combat crime and corruption, strengthen democracies, and prevent humanitarian crises.

Because the promotion of human rights is an important national interest, the United States seeks to:

  • Hold governments accountable to their obligations under universal human rights norms and international human rights instruments;
  • Promote greater respect for human rights, including freedom from torture, freedom of expression, press freedom, women's rights, children's rights, and the protection of minorities;
  • Promote the rule of law, seek accountability, and change cultures of impunity;
  • Assist efforts to reform and strengthen the institutional capacity of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the UN Commission on Human Rights; and
  • Coordinate human rights activities with important allies, including the EU, and regional organizations.

fuck that bullshit it's just words to placate the weak and anyway nowhere does the bold say that america is obligating itself to SOLVE humanitarian problems when doing so would go against it's own interest. America only obligates itself to do those things when it's in American interest. America like all strong nations operates on real politik........... you have made no case for why America should be responsible for the slavery of black Africans by Libyans.

Supporting Israel has been deemed good for American interest and America would prefer to remove the leaders of Syria.

look people have to make their minds up do you want America to be the worlds police force or not?? because on one hand people are trying to make it seem as if America is responsible for the slavery over there and should go over and stop it............. while on the other hand when america does get involved it gets called imperialist warmongers.

When America "gets involved" and colonizes (enslaves) or topples a country for their resources, or other shady interests, or are inconsistent about it, then hell yes - they're warmongers. It's not that hard to understand.

Ok... coon.

Until you can dispute the fact that they're being inconsistent with their own stated policy and you have no argument against people calling that out in this thread, don't address me faggot.

the fact of the matter is that since America is not responsible for slavery in Libya it is also not obligated to do anything about it. People in Africa especially black people have to learn to take care of themselves and people over here have to stop blaming America for every fucking thing that happens overseas.

The whole middle east is a cluster fuck and it's not all Americas fault.

It's still "morning" - pussy and you still had to resort to calling names when you can't win a debate intellectually. Don't know what mountain you live on, but I've been working for 4 hours already (and probably made more than your bitch ass already for the whole day) so miss me with your weak "lazy American" generalization.

MF could talk about everything but the facts ever since I posted that reference. No surprise you dance around facts, you buck-dancin coon.
