People that feel obligated to tip are morons.

I tip depending on service. If im getting fasf food service in a high end restaurant they going to get a fasf food tip.

Do the math.

So you feel obligated to tip if the service is good? Moron...

Why are we paying people to do their job? Because it's custom and tradition? Religion is custom and tradition as well, doesn't mean it's right. There are many customs and traditions that I disagree with. Tipping is foolish and the only reason people do it is because they are afraid of getting their food played with. I can't think of any other legal establishment where extortion is acceptable.

We don't believe you,you need more people roc a fella students of the game we passed the classes nobody reads you dudes like we do

of course, you have a right get service wherever you please

but I just do not understand the mental process,

where does it compute , even make sense

to go into an establishment

where it is well a known custom & tradition to leave gratuity??

where tipping for service rendered, is accepted, appreciated , and yes even expected

why even go to such a place?

how ignorant & idiotic you have to be NOT to realize, yes it is "offensive" to the staff and shows no class on your part ??

Why not just go to a Wendy's Burger King, McDonald's, White Castle, Popeye's etc.??

Maybe because he wanted food and didn't think he should pay extra? "Yeah, not everyone agrees with the custom, but you should respect the wishes of the establishment." Nope. Not everyone goes with the crowd. I guess my mental process doesn't compute, or even make sense of doing something just because everyone else does it.

It's only offensive to a hopelessly entitled fool. Has absolutely nothing to do with class because if that's the case, then everyone is classless for not tipping the grocery store clerk, the cashier, and many other service industry professions.

Why not go to a fast food restaurant? How do you even know it was his choice? How many people get invited to these places? Should they tip as well just because they wanted to see their friends? If it was his choice, he wants the food without the extortion.

Look man, if the barber wants a certain amount of money for the cuts, he should charge a flat rate. If he does a particularly good job and someone wants to tip, that should be at their discretion. It shouldn't be a forced issue.

lol

sheesh

so many cliche cop out rebuttals in this post

I don't even know were to start

in all honestly, you sound like ignorant unrefined fool,

a rebel without a cause

next you'll be arguing

Why should a person shake hands after a job interview , if that person hates shaking hands......???[-(

Why should I congratulate someone for finishing school?

huh?

Isn't that what they are SUPPOSE to do? Finish!
[-(

Why should I pay and then THANK the taxer driver

for getting me to the airport on time?

huh?

Isn't he being paid to do that???

Food carriers are at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to reward-worthy duties.

Other jobs have easily-discernible ways in which customer expectations can be exceeded as a direct result of the individual employee's actions.

Food carriers don't even cook the food; and if they don't deliver the food as ordered, there is nothing to pay for in the first place.

It's like tipping a cashier at McDonald's for getting your order right and giving you an extra ketchup packet.

I've got no problem with the concept of tipping. I don't like that a kind gesture has morphed into something where you are an asshole if you don't do it. What other charity am I an asshole for not participating in?
