Im leaving the city now matter of fact, been here since monday. I heard 4 people did get killed down town last night, but you should be fine. Stay in the tourist areas and use common sense, you'll still have fun.

I'd recommend the seafood joint on Bourbon, i forget the name. i think its the Oyster House? Coming from Canal it's the restaurant on the corner, maybe one or two blacks down. Acme is right down the street from it. Hard Rock Cafe is cool, good burgers.

Theres a cigar lounge on Canal heading towards the Harrahs. Top shelf liqour and premium smokes to chill. I forget the name, but you'll see it on the right as you head towards the casino.
