If you look at Lux for example...hes lyrical he got a following and he pretty much became kind of an icon since the Calicoe thing getting shoutouts by Jay Z and shit. Whats stopping him from and other battle rappers from signing to a label and drop an actual album?

I know songwriting skills are brought up as an issue but if you can break down your opponent in lyrics you should be able to write a hook and three verses for a song it cant be that hard for these dudes.

I'm just wondering why almost no battle rapper has managed to really crossover...or is it more like they dont even want to cause battle rap is getting bigger and bigger

They need executive producers to mold their sound and engineers to make their shit sound professional.

This is the one battle Pass def lost.

swains entourage was hyping the mess out of those corny punchlines it was like watching a spoof on youtube. I wouldnt even call it light, it was weak. For every corny punchline the crowd was like "ooooooo". I dont know how dudes like swain and just juice make it so far in the league I wouldnt cut them a coupon let alone a check for battling.

Pass first and 3rd round was on point but I expected more from him,his delivery came across as though he was trying to memorize his bars. Overall it was underwhelming on both parts.
