Is there a shortage of Black men, or are women just too picky?

dude Im a blk man, Im not trying to make us look bad,

but one of the reason I think things never get better in the blk

community as we tend to ignore facts,and make excuses and things never get solved.

There is a PROBLEM with education,poverty, jail and just quality of life with blk

ppl which affects everything from child development to marriage compatability.

we not doing blk ppl any favor by not acknowledging there is a problem.

yall stay focusing on the small percent and ignoring the larger percent thats doing good you wanna be like your white people so bad then ignore the problem and exploit the problems of other races............every race got bad seeds, so refuse to allow a few give the whole crew a bad rep

I agree w/ this shit 200%. Our peoople have been conditioned and indoctrinated w/ so much bullshit over the decades that we actually start believing it rather than analyzing and understanding things for what they really are. No other group comes w/ so many excuses for their misery than we do. The frustrating part is that the solutions are often times so elementary that you can't help but ask why is it so difficult for some of us to understand. We are a prideful people but to a degree that is blinding and hindering.

all i know is 90% of black men i know or run in to are married or have an "ole lady" at home or are felons or gay. each guy i've been with and been serious about i felt lucky as hell.but i rarely travel out of my state so i know there's more out there. i never really thought there was a shortage or that i will never be married. the media will have u thinking that though.

These women are probably in their 30's and 40's in addition to being waaay pass the expiration date, they probably have children. The type of men they want don't have to settle for some bitter, demanding, single "strong independent, black queen." He in the position to get hotter cuter chicks that are in their twenties. I think it's stereotypical to say all black woman are, miserable, obese loud mouth woman with attitude. I gotta agree w/ a lot of this too just cause I've seen it so much in the the past and I am currently going through this w/ a female friend. She gets upset w/ me cause I put her baggage and anger issues on blast. She has had all of these problems w/ men and baby daddies in her life. A lot of it is her choices in men and a whole lot of it has to do w/ her. She harbors a lot of anger, frustration and trust issues due to the men she is accustomed to dealing w/....but moreso as that is just who she is. She says stuff like, maybe I'm just meant to be alone and I think to myself "u damn str8 w/ an attitude like that cause I don't know a man alive who is going to put up w/ it". Her looks will always get her a man, but her attitude will never allow her to keep a good one.
