Been having hip and groin problems for about a month, due to lifting heavy. Right hip been bothering me all week. Decided that I will take it easy on the heavy lifting and only do it once in awhile. Now, I don't lift heavy every time I train, but I do more often than not. Gotta listen to my body, because at the end of the day, I want longevity and don't want my training life to be cut short due to injury. However, I'm still intense and still have two leg days a week!

Probably having problems cause your nit stretching. Make sure to throughly stretch before and after your workout

I always stretch before and after. I do the stretching, Stair master, lifting, stretching afterwards, and punching bag.

I always stretch before and after. I do the stretching, Stair master, lifting, stretching afterwards, and punching bag.

What is your warmup exercise before lifting heavy? I would suggest ten minutes on the exercise bike.

Leg days, I start off with stretching the groin and squatting down for about 30 seconds to warm up the hips, then I'll go on the Stair Master afterwards. Upper-body days, I do push-ups and warm up with the bands before going on the Stair Master.
 
I honestly can not remember the last time I had soda...I still drink light beer socially.....but I haven't had soda since March probably
