Dez Bryant Says Black People Are The Reason They Are Unsuccessful,Not White People...

White supremacy will live on. You got black millionaires who deny the effects of racial bias in our society. To say that black people are soley where they are at because of themselves and white people are innocent is to say that black people are inherently inferior. To be black in america seems to be synonymous with being ignorant of your past and present socioeconomic status.

Also making it by running and catching isnt the same as starting your own company or making iy in the medical field while black.

Smh at an athlete comparing his success to a regular person.

Imagine if that inarticulate nigga had to use his mind instead of athleticism to make a living, he'd change his tune

but why bash him for understanding his mind won't get him anywhere....so use his body.

so now niggas who find there calling is a bad thing?

Stop..

This is part of the reason I don't understand why people take what many of these athletes and entertainers seriously. They live in a different world than the average black people, so they are just out of touch. Their life experiences have led them to believe that working hard alone can make anyone successful. They don't really see the other side.

what makes him out of touch?

please tell me.

your post lacks facts...did you just see his story?

he has seen the other side. or maybe tell us, what the other side is. enlighten us...or maybe just me.

why you acting like he was born rich an privileged?

an yes, hard work will get you success...but you have to know your lane. too many people work hard copying someone else. what's for me, is mine. you have your own walk just like I have mine. success comes in many ways, it's not always about money

do I really have to go in here

So why was he talking bad about his drug dealer friend maybe selling drugs is his lane and that's why he continues to do it

he'd not talking about him...his friend said he wished he choose a different Lane.

his friend said that...not him.

he said afterwards howvhus friend feels inspired by him.

where was he talking bad?

he then said what's wrong with being sofisticated and black...I still dint see where that's coming down on anyone...he's posing a question. that's not or I didn't take it as directed towards his friend or anyone in particular. just a question.

The thing that is getting me is whoever said their was something wrong with being sophisticated and black?

if he didn't elaborate on it doesn't mean it's directed at you or me or his friend. for all we know he could have been speaking about himself...we don't know. we can't jump the gun without knowing where he was going with it. maybe his homies used to tease him about it..I don't know.

he could have been speaking on something else or building to speak about something else.

it said he spoke on racial profiling, but it wasn't posted. it's alot left out. I just don't see a coon statement.

Oh so he tweeted that on the heels of collin kapernick not being able to work because of the flag protest thing? i'm half tempted to say fuck this nigga.

Yea I ain't saying he's a coon but I just hate when niggas totally absolve systematic racism for our current condition. There have always been crabs in a barrel ass niggas but I just always ask how did we get in the barrel in the first place

He's talking about the crab in the bucket mentality. A lot of niggas are snakes and crabs nowadays. Yeah theres aracial devide and police shootings this that and the third but also for a few years recently black has been the new white. Y'all need to stop with that coon shit for real. I saw in a you tube comment "they call each other coon" pretty soon they(whites) will think its okay to say it. My uncles didnt march and get locked up in the '60's for this shit.

after reading the article again I have to retract this. he's wrong for that.

When you got black college grads that get less application call backs than white HS diploma holders and whites getting 5x the call backs thathan black with an identical resume...cant talk about systemic racism like it was generations ago..not to mention business and housings loans

Ask these whites who deny it if they want to trade scenarios

Pretty soon white people wont have to spout racist propaganda, theres gonna be enough niggas to do it for them.

I feel you....but that's our reality. we need to change it.

either we gonna stay victims for being put there or we gonna say I'm out the bitch..

complain about it as you climbing. an IC someone under you tries to pull you back...use that nigga to step on.

once we get out we need to make sure it doesn't happen again. band together an trim the fat.

I don't disagree with what he said.

Also, that excerpt has that nigga life story sounding like a Donald Goines novel. He got every excuse in the book to have a ruined life, but he turned out alright.

Can't be mad.

these niggas don't get it.

like you said, he had every reason....but he used his gift to make something of himself. no he's not the average person as far as physical attributes, but take that away...then he wouldn't be playing ball.

now only if the people coming down on him can harness that same energy into there gift...then maybe they will see why he says this.

I'm ready to fight

so you're concluding every black person who has issues with what he said is unsuccessful?

The only thing preventing you from success is yourself.

you're black you have to try harder to succeed then oh fucking well, but if you just keep blaming another race even if the odds are stacked against you'll never make it.

It's ironic that yall are so quick to dismiss the opinion of a man who obviously worked his ass off his entire life to accomplish something many people dream of.

Then wouldn't that mean more niggas are successful enough to have this "coon" opinion?
