T-Mac was on Kobe level from about 2002-2005.

He was Carmelo before Carmelo. Could score from anywhere on the court...
nah. Tmac was better than melo. Only Kobe had similar numbers

Kinda funny how they bother were on the same team..it didnt pan out.. Grant Hill was a rider and endured.. stayed dedicated and his impact in the twilight of his career is still something to be marveled about seeing how he missed so much of a would be all-time great career.

^Majority of these dudes on here look at stats, dunks and highlights to dictate who is better any two players.

Grant Hill these past three seasons still contributed to the Suns but where is T-mac today?

Further proves when you have multidimensional game you can stay in the league for years and not durations.

similar stories. Similar size, similar game.

Grant was hailed as the successor to jordan.
T-mac once was considered on kobe's level.

Who ya got?

let's try to focus on thier primes, and not these old, bad knee/ankle shells that run the court today.

i am taking grant, for a better total game and passing ability.

uhhhhhhhhhhh

If you want to talk "primes" here are the facts if you need clarification or stats you know where to check.

Scoring= T-mac
Ball handling/passing= Hill
Ability to lead a team= Hill
Defense=Hill
Rebounder=Hill

Being a better player makes you a better player.. sorry try again

LOL win shares alone shows who is better and has more value. Tmac got him in PPG, win shares and PER nigga. Its not close. The only niggas besides tmac to do that in the same season this decade was Kobe and Lebron.

Tmac..... and its not even close, even tho Hill was a hell of a player and had greatness written all over him before succumbing to injuries.. Tmac was willing that team to the playoffs year in and year out with a winning record while playing alongside the likes of..

Mike Miller

Darrell Armstrong

Troy Hudson

Pat Garrity

Horace Grant.. washed!

Monty Williams

Patrick Ewing.. washed!

Jaren Jackson

Steven Hunter

Bo Outlaw

Don Reid

Andrew Declerq

Jud Buechler

Jerryl Sasser

Dee Brown

hahahahahahaha...... and almost single handedly beat a stacked Milwaukee Bucks team and also had a solid Detroit team on the ropes in the 1st round of the playoffs, back to back years.

That in itself should be a testament to what kind of unique talent this guy was.

The dude was simply unbelievable in his prime and if not derailed by injuries wouldve been a top 3 SG/SF of all time... fact!
!

yet and still he could not make it out of the first round with that stacked rockets team he had for at least 2 years straight.fact.that rockets team was more complete than the 2010-11 miami heat team that made it all the way to the finals.like i said before,if you replace tmac with jordan, kobe or wade on that team they would have been a dynasty.tracy was just a scorer like melo,he did not improve his team and became a hindrance to that great rockets team.

real answer is Grant Hill

he learned how to play the game and not rely purely on athletecism.

this is why with a bad set of wheels homie is still a valuable asset in the league while tmac is competing with rick brunson for an official nba jersey collection.

in his prime Grant was just as athletic and knew the game.

jesus christ you people seriously want to base arguments on fantasy stats but not real life stats and facts

94-96 was a more defensive minded league than a decade later when tmac was cooking
hand checking rule?
defensive 3 seconds?
look at the production of grant hill in a more difficult to score league vs tmac in a shoot first play defense last league

you mean to tell me grant hill wouldn't have cooked in his prime minus those rules?

Yea

Grant Hill>>>>T mac

T mac is overrated and another player the ic has on a pedestal

Duke had 5-6 seasons were he shot the ball 20+ times and averaged 25-30 ppg

He did not make teams better,he did not impact games outside of scoring,he did not play defense,he did not have an all around game

T mac let a team go 0-19 with him as the leader

Also derrick shot the same fg %,averaged the same ppg,and shot the ball 21 times a game like t mac

So basically anybody can shoot 20-21 fga's and average 25ppg like t mac did

Ya'll overrate the shit out dude
eff all the other BS you talking bout

Who ?
