You not hearing what I'm saying .... Due to the fact there's so many niggas in the wu it's kind of difficult to say off of the group efforts ID stood out as a goat candidate without a great solo career to back like you can with dre .. Or even to say how much influence he had on the overall impact success wise of that group...... if ID was replaced with mc 12th monkey or nobody at all would that be as impactful as kast with no dre?? I don't think so.... That's my point about that comparison

Not saying Deck was a GOAT, he didn't do enough to make a mark. Ghost and Rae however have 2 classic albums at least, and Ghost has a lot more than that. You can look at those 9 dudes and think what are they without Wu. Mef, ODB, GZA, RZA, Rae and Ghost all stand out on their own, the rest not so much. Now look at Big Boi and Andre. What has Big Boi done outside of Kast? A solo album, a label, some guest verses. What has Dre done outside of Outkast? Sure, one of the greatest featured verse streaks ever and a few movies, but what else? What has he done in rap outside of Kast? Again, great group, but he still needs to be qualified as a solo mc.

Bruh those were some terrible analogies ...lol I mean for one did you really just compare george Harrison to Paul and John ?? Cmon now bruh everybody know they wrote damn near all the songs I dont really even get wht your comparing there?? so ur saying until Andre drops a solo album he = George Harrison?? No I do not cosign that shit .... Dre shined in a group setting whereas gh did not comparison should be dead there alone..... Secondly it's difficult to compare rock and rap in this way because the vast majority of goat rock acts are groups just due to the nature of what's needed to create that music whereas rap is primarily a individual game .... Lennon and Paul were goat status before they went solo brotha .... As individuals as well as a part of the group
So Here Comes the Sun and While My Guitar Gently Weeps werent hot songs? Harrison contributed a hell of a lot to the Beatles, but it gets swept under the rug. And when they broke up, did Harrison do anything that shook up the world like Lennon's Imagine? And yes, rock music has a lot of singular acts too (Hendrix, Meatloaf, Ozzy, Alice Cooper, Janis Joplin). Harisson's definitely one of the greatest guitarists, but people will put Lennon/McCartney over him in songwriting and singing (I prefer Harrison, but to each his own). Why is that? Because Harrison put in enough work as a guitarist, but not as a singer/songwriter, even though he had the potential to (Here Comes the Sun). Just like Dre, he put in hella work as a group member, hell, even as a producer and singer. But as a SOLO rapper, which is what a GOAT is, he's still gotta qualify.
