I already addressed the "black event" argument that platform was given by whites and they were allowed to hold that event by whites. So in a sense the audience isn't just black people. I don't remember whether black people caught outrage because of whites. The issue is that we as black people don't have the same luxuries as white folks, they can say and do what they want. When you're a prominent figure speaking on a public forum you gotta walk that line. And for the record I have stated, I don't believe the rape accusations against Cosby. However, his character can be brought into question because, of some his decisions and how he conducted himself. Especially given his propensity for lecturing others. I'm not saying a man has to be perfect, however he should conduct himself with a bit more tact and caution.

I was pointing out that whites were in fact in the audience and co-signing him. Not what he said. Which this was quite tame compared to the rest of the trash that exited his mouth that evening.

He was all over the place that evening and if carefully dissected it was incoherent, reckless and non-factual in some cases.

For example he says...

Then he goes on to say.
