Because his personal life is what led to these allegations and him being caught up in this. How is the basic concept of not being knee deep in the very shit you condemn others for this hard for you to grasp? Cosby talked up and down about personal accountability within the black community and being responsible for your actions...now his actions have led to these allegations...actions he admits to having taken some active role in regardless of legal guilt or innocence..and some of y'all are like "Why you talking about this. Why y'all trying to bring him down?"....its not about bringing him down its holding him to a standard he himself set. Will a man at times fall short of that? Of course. But part of being a man, hell an adult period, is acknowledgment of when you fall short , how you may have played a role in it...and actively working to do better. Giving him a million excuses as to why "people are out to get him" does nothing.

I said this same shit in the R. Kelly threads when niggas rushed to defend him just because "you shouldn't tear down someone black in public"...fuck that. Wrong is wrong and if you do wrong then you should be held accountable for it as well as be given the chance to make ammends
