i'm probably not the best source on this since outkast isn't my cup of tea. so i'll say... epmd, geto boys, run dmc, wu-tang, nwa, public enemy, tribe called quest, de la soul, nice and smooth, the beatnuts, black moon, the lox, the fugees, the outsidaz, x-clan, boogie down productions, brand nubian, dead prez, gangstarr, company flow, kmd, naughty by nature, poor righteous teachers, ultramagnetic mc's, the roots.

even if outkast was half as good as their fans swear they are... they're still just one group.
