ORLANDO - A witness we haven't heard from before paints a much different picture than we've seen so far of what happened the night 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot and killed.

The night of that shooting, police say there was a witness who saw it all.

Our sister station, FOX 35 in Orlando, has spoken to that witness.

What Sanford Police investigators have in the folder, they put together on the killing of Trayvon Martin few know about.

The file now sits in the hands of the state attorney. Now that file is just weeks away from being opened to a grand jury.

It shows more now about why police believed that night that George Zimmerman shouldn't have gone to jail.

Zimmerman called 911 and told dispatchers he was following a teen. The dispatcher told Zimmerman not to.

And from that moment to the shooting, details are few.

But one man's testimony could be key for the police.

"The guy on the bottom who had a red sweater on was yelling to me: 'help, help…and I told him to stop and I was calling 911," he said.

Trayvon Martin was in a hoodie; Zimmerman was in red.

The witness only wanted to be identified as "John," and didn't not want to be shown on camera.

His statements to police were instrumental, because police backed up Zimmerman's claims, saying those screams on the 911 call are those of Zimmerman.

Anyways, "John" is the only witness so far along with that teen kid who ran away before the end of the fight, who SAW the fight and what happened before the gun shot. Everyone else, including those two women only HEARD. "John" saw Trayvon and told him to stop beating Zimmerman and he was going to call the police. At that point he heard the gunshot and saw trayvon down on the ground from a gunshot wound.

The evidence and credible witnesses show he was more than likely acting in self defense. The grill shows he wasn't some bright face boy like the media would have you to believe and highlights the media bullshit. Also lets be real, most people know what type of behavior typifies the usual young black men and teens that love to present themselves as a thug. Obviously, I'm not going to argue the case in court but ask 100 people what they think of when the first see that picture, they think thug and they associate certain behaviors with it. Looks like a duck, dress like a duck, etc. We genuinely don't know what happened but we can make educated guesses and my educated guess and I'm sure those who aren't afraid of being attacked for being politically incorrect would agree, that thugs and wannabe thugs are overly aggressive in an effort to emphasize their machismo. They are also quick to anger and love fighting and don't know respectable limits.

If John is to be believed, the Trayvon was most likely acting in that way. He loved pummeling the dude and wouldn't stop when he had the upperhand and after John asked him to stop. At that point he gave up his right of self-defense and Zimmerman gained his. Florida SELF-DEFENSE (Not SYG) states you can use deadly force if you believe you are in danger of death or SERIOUS INJURY. If not death, Zimmerman would of sustained serious injury. To be empathetic to Trayvon, unfortunately he went to far in his assult on Zimmerman.

The original fox interview with John was back on Feb 27th I believe. I'll find the link. This was shortly after the event occurred and well before the media circus two weeks or so later. It was a none issue because before everyone started sticking their fingers in the pie, it was somewhat of a clear case of self-defense even without the fleshed out story which doesn't change the immediate facts leading up to Trayvon's death.

In addition, Fox News the 24/7 news organization is different than local Fox affiliates. Local affiliates aren't usually as politically driven like the news channel

He had a loaded gun and Trayvon had Skittles and iced tea, AND committed no crime at the time. Trayvon, IF he was fighting Zimmerman, was defending himself. Trayvon never followed Zimmerman, but Zimmerman followed Trayvon and confronted him. Zimmerman is a murderer and shouldv'e been arrested yesterday. Again, John Saw what happened. These two women made assumptions and didn't even see Zimmerman until after the shooting. Any person with an ounce of knowledge would realize that "John" would be a more credible witness to whether this was a case of self-defense. Once Trayvon was told to stop beating Zimmerman and continued to beat him until Zimmerman was bleeding from the back of his head and his nose, it stopped being self-defense and went into assualt. He defended himself and well beyond. However, if he was defending himself is even questionable. Zimmerman claims that he was walking back to his vehicle when Trayvon attacked him from behind. That Scenario is as likely but we don't have the evidence one way or another

Witness: Martin attacked Zimmerman

ORLANDO - A witness we haven't heard from before paints a much different picture than we've seen so far of what happened the night 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot and killed.

The night of that shooting, police say there was a witness who saw it all.

Our sister station, FOX 35 in Orlando, has spoken to that witness.

What Sanford Police investigators have in the folder, they put together on the killing of Trayvon Martin few know about.

The file now sits in the hands of the state attorney. Now that file is just weeks away from being opened to a grand jury.

It shows more now about why police believed that night that George Zimmerman shouldn't have gone to jail.

Zimmerman called 911 and told dispatchers he was following a teen. The dispatcher told Zimmerman not to.

And from that moment to the shooting, details are few.

But one man's testimony could be key for the police.

"The guy on the bottom who had a red sweater on was yelling to me: 'help, help…and I told him to stop and I was calling 911," he said.

Trayvon Martin was in a hoodie; Zimmerman was in red.

The witness only wanted to be identified as "John," and didn't not want to be shown on camera.

His statements to police were instrumental, because police backed up Zimmerman's claims, saying those screams on the 911 call are those of Zimmerman.

"When I got upstairs and looked down, the guy who was on top beating up the other guy, was the one laying in the grass, and I believe he was dead at that point," John said.

Zimmerman says the shooting was self defense. According to information released on the Sanford city website, Zimmerman said he was going back to his SUV when he was attacked by the teen.

Sanford police say Zimmerman was bloody in his face and head, and the back of his shirt was wet and had grass stains, indicating a struggle took place before the shooting.

attacking and fighting are 2 different things though. all i know is that zimmermann was armend and followed that unnarmed 17 y/o boy, no one knows who attacked who. and last time i checked he shot him 2 times with a pause for reflection in between - the second shot makes this a homicide if nothing else

Anyways, "John" is the only witness so far along with that teen kid who ran away before the end of the fight, who SAW the fight and what happened before the gun shot. Everyone else, including those two women only HEARD. "John" saw Trayvon and told him to stop beating Zimmerman and he was going to call the police. At that point he heard the gunshot and saw trayvon down on the ground from a gunshot wound.

The evidence and credible witnesses show he was more than likely acting in self defense. The grill shows he wasn't some bright face boy like the media would have you to believe and highlights the media bullshit. Also lets be real, most people know what type of behavior typifies the usual young black men and teens that love to present themselves as a thug. Obviously, I'm not going to argue the case in court but ask 100 people what they think of when the first see that picture, they think thug and they associate certain behaviors with it. Looks like a duck, dress like a duck, etc. We genuinely don't know what happened but we can make educated guesses and my educated guess and I'm sure those who aren't afraid of being attacked for being politically incorrect would agree, that thugs and wannabe thugs are overly aggressive in an effort to emphasize their machismo. They are also quick to anger and love fighting and don't know respectable limits.

If John is to be believed, the Trayvon was most likely acting in that way. He loved pummeling the dude and wouldn't stop when he had the upperhand and after John asked him to stop. At that point he gave up his right of self-defense and Zimmerman gained his. Florida SELF-DEFENSE (Not SYG) states you can use deadly force if you believe you are in danger of death or SERIOUS INJURY. If not death, Zimmerman would of sustained serious injury. To be empathetic to Trayvon, unfortunately he went to far in his assult on Zimmerman.

Again, John Saw what happened. These two women made assumptions and didn't even see Zimmerman until after the shooting. Any person with an ounce of knowledge would realize that "John" would be a more credible witness to whether this was a case of self-defense. You're tied to your set narrative so of course you wouldn't see it any other way so trying to convince you otherwise is quite pointless. You already have your pitchfork and torch and unable to see reason.

And i see you can't read. Go back and READ what the other witnesses said. Go and READ the Stand Your Ground Laws. Go and READ those articles i posted. If your women beater friend Zimmerman was yelling help help and being attacked HOW was he able to shoot Trayvon Martin. Trayvon Martin is the only one with a self defense claim.

Most people don't want to use their gun even if they have one if they can avoid doing so. Taking someone's life is not fun. He most likely was in a situation where Trayvon left him no choice unless he wanted to possibly die.

Also, people keep emphasizing the fact that Trayvon was 100lb lighter. However, he also was 5 inches higher than Zimmerman and in much better shape. Zimmerman is actually 5'8" (I made the mistake of taking another sources word on him being 5'2") Zimmerman only outweighted him due to being a fat slob, not by muscle. A 6'3", 160 LB in shape young man is going to have more of a advantage than a 260 LB 5'8" fat pig.

The original fox interview with John was back on Feb 27th I believe. I'll find the link. This was shortly after the event occurred and well before the media circus two weeks or so later. It was a none issue because before everyone started sticking their fingers in the pie, it was somewhat of a clear case of self-defense even without the fleshed out story which doesn't change the immediate facts leading up to Trayvon's death.

In addition, Fox News the 24/7 news organization is different than local Fox affiliates. Local affiliates aren't usually as politically driven like the news channel
