Not really a glitch but Ive seen it done before when editing the OP, if u forget to hit the sticky box at the bottom itll get unstickied. Maybe thats what happened, u edited the OP or Thread Title and forgot to sticky it again.

I've had the same problem with a thread in the Arcade. It would unstick everytime after I stickied it. Let Jay know, he fixed the problemo for me.

Alright 3 of the battles in the Reason tournaments are finished up there's just 4 more till the next rounds. I got a better turn out than I expected. I prolly shoulda kept the qualifying thread open for another day or two LOLOL. I'll move the finals threads to Roc Tha Mic so that The Reason isn't too congested with stickies.

Something I realized tho is that Roc Tha Mic can still be saved. There's a group of people who will post up in there they just need cats to set up the platform for them. I remember Tha Killer when he used to run that area always had something going and even tho it was a small group of posters they kept things going for a period of time.

There's still hope.

That's dope, as they definitely deserve the platform. Maybe someone can provide examples to the regulars (as @Sion.) has done recently. They'll hopefully take it & run with it then. Hate how busy my life is now, I don't get to do as much here as I would have been able to do 3 years ago.

Props all round though, the new board is a massive success given that we still have the I.C. Feel/humour.

Reason buddies...you guys know I like organizing shit...and I'm still down for giving the Reason Awards thing another go around the end of the year...BUT in the meantime, especially after we finally get poll options implemented in threads, I think it'd be fun or "refreshing" to do some interactive things like Top 100 lists and tournaments that posters can participate in. I got a few more hours of time of my hands lately. I'm also thinking about doing the same in the Arcade and Off The Turnbuckle as well...the problem is actually getting people to not be lazy and participate. Thoughts?

Anyone wanna help me start setting something like this up?

this is not meant to troll or take shots at the reason or its mods. but as a poster who used to frequent the reason (i havent for the last couple years tho.... below is one of the reasons why)

this is a thread going on in the reason right now. as you can see jaw breaker has the same opinion as me on this. this is not a hip hop related thread. id say this would be a gns thread at best

but this is something that i think takes away from the reason in an idealistic way. because it seems like no matter how long i take a break from the reason i can always count on finding some non hip hop shit there when i do go back. icecoldstew once told me that the reason isnt as good as it once was because music isnt as good as it once was. and i agree but only to a certain extent. i dont think the reason could be as good as it once was just for the fact that AHH doesnt have the membership numbers it once had. i dont think it has anything to do with the quality of music because this is hip hop discussion, not listening to the radio for example. so im not setting any unrealistic expectations for the reason but at the same time i also know that it doesnt have to be as bad as it is.

at the end of the day i think the simple shit can add up.... seems like yall just gave up on yall room lately

I really like the stickied album release threads in the Reason...think that's something that should be updated frequently...the Post Your Music Thread should stay but sometimes the album release stickies become too much.

Thats why I started the album release thread so that way it can help clear up the clutter of having so much album threads stickied.

There were times when like 12 threads were stickied and most were for album/mixtape releases...some were stickied for a couple weeks and only got like 10-15 posts...if a thread isn't being posted in frequently it should probably be unstickied if there are that many other threads stickied at the same time

I think the themed threads (battle threads, monthly album release dates, post your music, etc) are good for stickies and only major album releases

I mean its cool and whatever. i sticky and when you feel its not needed unsticky them.We just working together no prob.

I think when a CD leaks its about 7-14 days b4 the actual date so usually 14 days after the release date I unsticky the thread. You figure its been almost a month or so plus more current albums need the shine anyway. (Like I did with the Game album thread recently)

I think mixtapes should NOT be stickied. Plus only releases from major artists should be stickied.
