The Reason Moderators' Thread - For Discussion and Improvements

I know I was the guy who started the whole mega thread idea but its time we let all that shit go. For those that don't know, we have a "Sink" feature that simply makes thread fall out without having to close it aka u can keep posting in it but the thread won't bump like normal threads do. This is a perfect way to get rid of redundant threads without having to argue with the T/S about why it was closed

I never really like the idea of grouping an artist's threads together. It makes the forums kind of stale and most people don't even bother clicking because they think everything in the thread is old.

I'm still down for the album threads, though. We don't need 5 different threads for an album cover, track list, this album is cool, damn its being pushed back again, etc. And *eh em* I'm pretty sure I started those with the creation of the Official Teflon Don thread.

Be wary which threads u bring back, and which threads u choose to promote. It's one thing when a poster accuses a mod of trolling, but when the accusations of trolling become consistent and/or made by multiple voices, the accusations appear less biased.

Jay, any ideas why I wasn't able to view this forum or mod for the past few hours???

The only thread I've brought back is my thread about RuffDraft's Rough Draft of hip hop… was I scrapped from being a mod for a few hours???

New alias's are banned under the rules that Jay underlined in one of the moderator threads. Icy and Toddo are aware of this.

On that note some posters are marking all posts as troll posts regardless of the posts content or thread topic. The thread I believe you are referring to was marked troll on every post by 1 person again regardless of content or interaction and thus a skewed veiw and abuse of the system is perpetuated only a couple of posts in said thread had a post marked troll twice. These marking of all posts as trolling is not only happening to me but other mods also who have a dedicated cult of stalking haters looking to warp perception. I have actually dialed back my posting because just about everyone of my posts gets marked as trolling and it was used against me already here and in the Mod feedback thread , when in truth if you actually click on the trolling you can see only 1 or 2 individuals is going down the line marking all posts as trolls..
