Why the fuck do any of yall REALLY personally care about anything involving these people besides who made the better diss record?

Because the backstory and context is laced throughout the content of said diss record. If there are holes throughout the entire shit like swiss cheese, then the featured punchlines which determine how ethereal the song is lose their impact.
