This has some truth to it. Wayne and Jay-Z are both underrated as far as lyrical ability go. But LYRICISTS aren't really the big stars(T.I., Kanye, Drake, etc...). They are good rappers I think, but lyricists to me are dudes like Phonte, Blu, MYSELF, Buddens, Jay Electronica, etc... but most of the lyricists cant make HIT songs(except Phonte, dude is the most underrated to me period).
