Yeah this makes sense. Goku always holds back something. He could've washed pikkon and majin vegeta with ssj3 but didnt bother.

He's getting an asspull power up due to Jirren being OP. Kale was smacking on Goku last weekend only to get one shotted by Jirren. Jirren already legit snuck up on him when they met sure Goku will put up a fight initially then however this limit breaker thing happens and he either wins or is interrupted.

Just rewatched the Goku vs Hit fight. I wish Goku would've won that. Super Kaioken is a top 5 attack ever. Hit froze time and Goku was still able to move. He was able to over power merged Zamasu as well with it

Key word is IF Jiren is the mortal that's stronger than Beerus. We still got a way to go. Y'all are reading too much into theories and not the show. It's not far fetched to believe Goku is stronger than him. He's made no indication that's wildly stronger than Goku or Vegeta.
Y'all also need to be mindful that they can't kill anyone at the tournament. I don't think anyone is dumb enough to think Kale is on par with Goku in 1 v 1.... Least I hope not...
I guess the discrepancy is that if you do assume that Goku is much stronger, why doesn't he just make quick work of everyone instead of wasting energy?

This tournament is so crazy. Say what u want about Goku but he's fighting everybody while trying to pace himself. He wants to see what everyone can do.
Gohan and Jiren shot one ki blast during the whole tournament. If U7 sticks to the plan then they can def win this.
17 and 18 Vs Kaserhal was a good fight. They seem untouchable when they're together.
Caulifla and Kale shined in this episode with Goku telling them he can't wait til when they get stronger.
U11 has 4 members left. I hope Gohan takes out Toppo.
U6 hasn't lost anyone yet lol.
Vegeta fighting Ribrianne next ep. If he beats her then that would be 3 U2 members at once

It's cool to see that the strongest fighters are pacing themselves. 17, 18, Caulifla and Kale have been doing all the work the last two eps. Master Roshi and Tien got an elimination too.
They definitely sparing Vegeta, Goku, Frieza, Frost, Hit, Toppo, Jiren and Gohan for later eps. I dig it.
