Pisses me off that goku didn't train hard as he could have during the cell saga. He made gohan super strong but the remaining 3 hours was more than enough for him to become super sayian 2 as well.

Gotdamn at this point you're saying he isn't strong enough to be bullet proof? Vegeta,Ginyu Force, Frieza, Cell, and Buu and he still can't last against bank robbers?? Ether.

Goku always wanted the kids to be the heroes and to learn to protect the planet when he was gone.

He wanted Gohan to do it because it was easier for Gohan to tap Into his power, he just had to get Gohan's power to a point where his anger would shoot him over the top.

I been mulling over what AT stated about no more SSJ2 or 3 and I think he been setting that up for awhile actually.

Goku says during the filler eps of the Cell Saga that transforming is a waste of energy, so he and Gohan walk around as Super Saiyans to make the transformation feel more natural.

During the Buu Saga, Goku finds SSJ3 cumbersome and a waste of his energy because he wasn't able to stay fully powered up for a long period of time, that was a central plot point where Vegeta would have to fight Buu so Goku could rest and regain some of his strength.

So I think I see where he's going with this, he isn't really puttin a limit on their powers but he is putting a limit on their transformations.

Since he absorbed the godmode energy you already know he is currently trying to tap into at will in training. I hope Vegeta finally gets some respect though and accesses it as well.
