It is no coincidence 2pac is one of the highest selling Artists ever he is so universally loved by all types of people from the hood to the suburbs all kind of people love his Music & not everyone that loves it has to specfically relate word for word but they can understand the pain and struggles 2pac went through just cos the Music is so timeless ahead of it's time

B.I.G. Music is entertaining but lacks the Soul and power of someone like 2pac's Music

2pac could do what B.I.G. did with his eyes closed making Club tracks and Gangsta Music and still be succesful doing it

B.I.G. couldnt do what 2pac did by making deep, emotional, heart felt tracks like Dear Mama & Letter To My Unborn Child

dude i agree he was the better artsit, but pacs wordplay, metaphors, double entadras, and flow was just average.

and plus not trying to discredit him,but u cant really judge a rapper completely on songwriting ability, because producers help write songs.

and biggie had deep songs. suicidal thoughts

Biggie Smalls few deep Song's were weak you cant compare him to 2pac like i said Biggie can be compared to Jay Z or Pusha T or Jadakiss someone who is a Rapper as oppossed to an Artist with similar content

2pac was just very emotional & personal

Fuck naw, Pac was pretty basic with his figures of speech (Alliteration) and he was redundant as fuck with his vocab (enemies, hennesy, soldier, told ya, kill me, feel me). Biggie was way nicer: better storyteller, had the ability to juxtapose between humor and pain, etc. As far as flow and delivery, not even fucking close, Biggies flow and delivery is second to none, Pac could never flow like Big on Notorious Thugs. Biggie was far more nicer technically, hat Pac had going for him was his passion and songwriting and Big was just as good a song writer to me.

Biggie was a mc's mc!

lol this is funny

why does one have to be better than the other? i feel like where pac lacked at, biggie excelled at and vice versa. they were both great imo but they died to young. imagine if jay-z and eminem died when they were 24 and 25. you'd never really get to see their full potential and people would be doing these same type of comparisons.

I cant remember the last time i played Ready To Die or Life After Death

its not hard to see that the only reason people compare the two was because they were around at the same time... pac is so far ahead of biggie its not even funny

Nope. Pac was better in pretty much everything. Stop being a bitch, and pick a side.

Emotional and personal dont make you a better mc especially when I dont give a fuck about that stuff in the 1st place

As far as mc skills go biggie slayed pac.Pac is very overrated his music is outdated and redundant.Songs like brendas got a baby mean nothin to me

That is pretty much what most people will say that have heard both 2pac & Biggies Albums

2pac simply was far more superior to B.I.G. as a Song Writer, Song Maker and his Albums are so much superior to Biggie's by a landslide

2pac's Music will still be loved 30 years from now while Biggie's Music lacks replay value after a few listens

Pac should be compared to rappers like young jeezy, master P,T.I.Pastor Troy etc cuz he got the same skill sets as them

He cant even compare to cats like nas, biggie, rakim, jay -z.They'd rap circles around this nigga

Exactly, i love how mfs always bring up SUBJECT MATTER, like that have shit to do with the technicalities of being a mc. SUBJECT MATTER is relative anyways, people relate to different shit for different reasons and just because Biggie wasn't pandering to you doesn't make him less of a mc.

Niggas don't want to talk about the technicalities of being a mc, they don't want to talk about: flow, delivery, wordplay, metaphors, double entandres, allusions, storytelling, breath control, stage presence, mike presence, etc. They revert to that subject matter shit, which has nothing to do with the technicalities of being a mc.

speak for yourself about replay value...i still listen to "one more chance" , "notorious thugs", "back to cali", "gimme the loot", etc.

I can listen to those Song's but they get boring

But they are not gonna help me and give me hope like Song's such as Dear Mama, Changes, Life Goes On, Letter To The President, Pain etc will

I wanna hear deep Music that comes from the heart emotion is very important

lol yeah cuz songs like "juicy" aren't inspiring? and if i'm listening to "one more chance" or "goin back to cali" i'm probably in a feel good mood and not looking for hope and "help". and all music gets boring if you listen to it enough.. i prefer pac over biggie but there are only so many times i could listen to "temptations" or "lord knows" before it needs to take a bacskeat on the IPOD

If rap music has to give you hope then you need therapy/psycho evaluations. Its certain songs I can relate to but I dont get hope and help getting through the day cuz of it

Lmao @ pac fans being depressed, suicidal, alcoholics just like him now it makes sense
