So now men AND women are seeing marriage aint all it's cracked up to be...and old reasons for why ppl used to get married ain't cutting it anymore.

I think I've said this before on here but if I haven't...we're in a time where men and women don't necessarily need each other anymore so our struggle is defining why we want to be with each other.

Men and women don't need each other in the sense that we don't need to settle.

Right now we got time to figure out what we want in life before entering these life long commitments like marriage and kids...and see if we even want em at all. People are getting married and having kids later in life (late 20s-30s) as opposed to earlier.

There's no disagreement about the family being the bedrock of society. But don't put the cart before the horse. I need to be responsible to myself before I can be responsible for a family. And the maturity to choose a partner worthy of my time and energy to build with goes with that responsibility.

here is my issue, as a dude, I'm personally never sexually satisfied fucking the same girl after a while no matter how good she is.

but here is what I could say, a lot of these issues can be solved if people wait until their 30s to get married and have kids.

Optimally it'll be better to find your partner after 30, that means the two parties getting married have lived, seen good and bad, and if they decided to settle, its a decision that comes from living and experience.

Not saying every marriage would work, but a lot of the problems will be solved.

Im personally a person that gets bores regardless of position.

But im at the age where I know that its not the girl im withs fault, cause ima get bored regardless if I break up with her and find someone new.

So at this age I understand that and in a few years I might even be able to deal with it and stay with a girl.

People are oversexed. Married couples today have probably been fucking two or three years before they got married. It's easy to get bored if you've been living like you married long before you actually are.

A lot of people think it's the fairy tale that ruins marriages, its not. What really ruins marriages is selfishness, and a lack of communication and diminished kindness.

There's a lot of studies on this. How you communicate and the little acts of kindness you do for your wife can do wonders for your sex life. Sex for women is mental, she has to feel desired and wanted, but she also has to desire you.

In my experience, bored housewives are just women who feel unappreciated at home. The hubby doesn't pay her any attention and they don't talk unless it's about sex or work.

Lack of communication and eroding closeness gives someone else time to squeeze in.

You gotta sacrifice some shit for her benefit. If you can give the NBA or the NFL 3 consecutive hours of your attention you can give your wife at least one a day. No phone or computer, no sex just chilling and shooting the shit.

Men don't give the women what they want or need. I've seen many marriages end up being blamed on the man for various reasons. Two of those reasons that are high on the list - sex and communication.

There's no human connections. Everything today is expressed through social media; birthdays, anniversaries, vacations, baby announcements etc. Shit seems to have lost its value in the journey for likes, shares and the hope your video or message goes viral. I tell my wife happy birthday w a kiss, hug and some shit I'll do for her. I don't say shit on FB.

Men don't even need women to get pleasure, either. These married men are popping open web browsers and searching up porn fantasies to get off bc wifey ain't doing shit. She's out cheating bc he can't fuck or just ain't fucking at all.

It's all a lack of deep connection to each other. People don't realize that it doesn't just happen, you have to consistently work on that everyday. Compromise is also something many people don't understand. They're too immature and anal about shit.

I've been w my wife since I was 15. I'm going to be 31 this year. 17 yrs together. 9 yrs married. 6 kids. She works. I stay at home. We have been through open heart surgeries w my 2nd son, which was hell for the first 3 yrs. Then, our 5th son was born and he has allergies, eczema & asthma, and that's a shit load of work, too.

Even through that and typical bullshit, our sex lives are top notch. Sex every day, every week, every month. We can talk for hours. Humor is on point. We just click. Always have. We are both mature and just don't care to devote our time or energy to bullshit. Instead of arguing we get angry, don't talk, then talk it out when tempers are cooled. Even then, we hardly ever have any kind of issues with each other. Average argument, fight or being mad at each other is like once a month - if that.

People just don't care to devote time to someone else. Everything is about them. Social media has created this selfish "me, me, me" idea. You have ppl marrying themselves now. Why marry someone when you don't want to work on shit, not even yourself?

I don't get what's hard about being mature and being able to rationally understand and work things out that are necessary in a relationship.
