true...but not as drastically and effectively as race. Tim Wise and Howard Zinn speak on this. Martin Luther King realized this before his life was taken. Malcom X realized this after his pilgrimage to Mecca. Its not a new concept. It just isn't openly discussed often.

Pretty much. This thread exemplifies EXACTLY why race mixing causes problems so often. I don't judge those that do, but I'm not naive enough to think problems won't occur as a result. I knew a mixed race chick who considered herself Black and she got hate from both Blacks and Whites. It's a fucked up world and I'd hate to see a kid of mine go through shit like this. In a perfect world, race wouldn't mean anything but on Earth, it does and it's why I'd never have a kid outside of a Black woman
