The problem is only 32% of Black men are married... So the question is what are the other 68% of unmarried Black men doing.

The most successful relationship structure Black males have is with Black women according to the Pew Research Center.

Nevertheless, what does the way this woman look have anything to do with her getting married? Ugly fat white women get married everyday. Let me say first that I do believe that an attitude that values whiteness over blackness is probably a part of the story here -- probably a big part.

But discussions like this tend not to be very rigorous in that other explanations are not satisfactorily ruled out.

For example, part of the explanation of this might be simple demographic facts. If there are 10 white women for every back woman, then even a black man who is indifferent to race -- meaning that he does not prefer white women -- will more likely than not end up with a white woman.

Another thing that could play a part is the attitude of black women. If some black men have bought into the idea that white is better, it would be surprising if no black women did so as well. So some of these women, especially the most desirable ones, may not be inclined to date and marry brothers. As someone pointed out in the thread on the Brazilian beauty queen who was (so she says) dethroned for being too black, she had a white husband. Of course, we don't know if she had any preferences. But she might have. The more general point however is that we should not assume that all black women have preferences for same-race men, and this could be a contributing factor to the statistics this woman is talking about.

All women have attitude problems. Black women are more vocal, while non-Black women are more passive aggressive. A Black women will express herself and tell you how she feels whether you like it or not, while a non-black woman is less confrontational and will take out her aggression on you through other means. White men are all over the internet telling how some white women did they dirty. The problem is Black people measure their relationships on a scale of whiteness. Black women look at white men as the standard of man hood and compare Black men too it, and black men look at white women and compare black women to them.

Most Black women come from homes where they have never seen how a woman who looks like them should treat a man. While most Black men come from homes where they never seen personally a man care for, provide, and exalt a woman of his race. The television has been the number one tool to teach Black people how to interact with the opposite gender. For most Black people this interaction is experimental and new, which is why most Black relationship issues exist. The majority of Black women I have met in my life all have had a preference for Black men, look at the stats of Black women who are married and who they are married too. The majority of Black women prefer Black men, even the ones who Black men view as ugly for looking too African still prefer Black men.

Interracial relationships are tricky for Black women due to the history of the Black woman in the western world. Most men do not view Black women as women due to slavery. I have stated before they slavery took away the femininity of Black women, no one cared that their was a Black woman picking cotton. So for men who are not Black most have a fear to announce to a white supremacist world, while lacking the power to exalt a Black woman they he loves or is attracted to Black women. And their is obvious an attraction for Black women by other races of men. Not too long ago Pornhub released their most search and watch porn by states, and in many white majority states Ebony porn was in the top 5 of the most watch porn. So the issues is Black women redefining Black womanhood in this western world. Because its obvious at this point its more easier for a Black man of success, or privilege to exalt and put a non-Black woman on a pedestal than a woman from his race.

As I said before only women win in interracial relationships. Women take, they don't give. Look at Iman, she just inherited half of 230 million dollars from a white man.

This will never happen for a Black man who's married to a non-Black woman, as women take they don't give. This is why non-black women who are married to successful Black men... Kanye, Kobe, Reggie Bush, Sidney Poitier, Quincy Jones ect... will have their money inherited by non-black women, as women take, they don't give.

I was just talking about this to someone the other day. Pretty much every characterization out there regarding black men has been proven to be false, but people still push them. Black men are deadbeat dads. Black men choose nonblack women. Black men don't want monogamous relationship. When people actually researched these things, the numbers show none of it is true, but people keep on pushing it and black women keep on crafting their behavior towards black men based on those myths.
