Lyrics: Nas

Flow: Mase

Delivery: 2pac

Rap Voice: Shyne Poe

Presence: DMX

Etc., please put why :

Nas early works is up there with the best book writers and poets in literature and music lines like :

' I need a new nigga for this dark cloud to follow, cos while its over me its to dark to see tomorow '

' instead of saying fuck tomorow the buck that bought the bottle, could have struck the lotto'

Mase flow patented all these dudes flow, cam, fabo, 50, jada, etc he would rhyme like the last 4 or 5 words over and over making sense and on point while slightly adjusting to move on to a next rhyme scheme. ask your favorite rapper about Mase they all know dude had natural ability and charisma to match.

2pac like common sense said he rapped from the gut from the pain area, his gritty sharp spilling was magical and passionate. check the 'until the end of time' song especially V2.

Shyne Poe just caught your attention even if you werent listen, its more grittier and smoother and believable than biggies tone.

DM arff arff, enough said.

The rhyme scheme that Big L and Lord Finesse had before Ma$e?

Rank all in seperate categories.

Lyrics: KRS- possibly the most lyrically versatile MC topicwise. Talked about so many themes, started lyrical trends in his career. Poetry (advanced rhyming), 9mm go bang (gangsta shit), Superhoe (party shit), My Philosophy (consciousness), Bridge Is Over (battle and reggae shit). Nigga talked about black sellouts, how blacks and whites are racist, crack hoes, the rap press, fuckin beef lol. Defined what hip hop is for serious fans (something u live). Hes has talked about almost anything you can think of and did it well.

Flow: Rakim- Nas is Rakim part 2 but Ra is the blueprint, modern overlapping flow starts with him.

Delivery: Kool G Rap- machine gun technique esp around 92 blueprint for Pun and others

Rap Voice: BIG/Chuck D- two of the best voices ever

Presence: KRS/Busta- stage show was better than the records were always considered two of the best performers

Strong Post. KRS don't get the credit he deserves. He was on top when competition included Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, and Kool G Rap
