I typed this before but Ill type it again. People always discredit big by saying he only had 2 albums. even with that being said theres very few or if any that has topped those 2 albums. You can put on biggie songs now at a party and they still bump. his songs are timeless. both of these albums make almost every best hip hop album list and isnt both albums on rolling stones best 500 albums ever where most hip hop albums didnt even make the list?
Shit, I went to a NY Giants vs eagles game in metlife this past december and they played hypnotize twice. There was a older white guy probably in his late 40s singing the lyrics along with his kid singing with him who was probably like 9 and the song came out almost 20 years ago. I was only 5 when ready to die came out and I know that album by heart. 2 of my younger brothers who wasnt even born yet when big died plays the fuck out of ready to die also. his music still lives today and is the most bit and sampled rapper i can think of at the moment. Only 2 albums but those 2 albums made a HUGE mark in hip hop, thats legendary
