If I asked who are the top 5 NBA players all time you gonna start naming Patrick Ewing Reggie Miller and Scottie Pippen just to be different??? The name of the site is Allhiphop.com, not 90sHipHop.com.

The problem is that the moderators, regulators and owners of the site don't remember 80s Hip Hop so you end up with a skewed Top 20 list thats biased towards the age bracket of the site administrators.

What album would y'all take out in favor of Nation of Millions?

Nah, It takes a nation of Millions is dope, but def not Top 10 of ALL Time

Well according to your own, logic those 90's albums sold more and were more impactful. Therefore they are better than those 80's albums.

There is only one MJ or Magic.so they could only take 1 slot on your list.not 3 like Pac is on this.

so if you were making a all time player list then yea Pat or Scottie would't be in top 5 but maybe somewhere down that list they would appear..Not Mj at 1,8,and 18 and neither of them on it at all..(not saying they are)

im not saying the 5 albums that got it shouldnt be there.cause they are obviouly great albums and can all take claim.my point was the rest of list or fact that 5 artist have more than half the total 20 goat albums ever made..

To me it seem like heads just went off the top and didnt think to deep or broad and used the Mount Rushmore and Dre before considering others shit..that all i could be wrong

cause again i say it IMO ..Mobb Deep Infamous is as good or better than every album on that list.

The list is not about just yourself it's about thinking outside of yourself when you make list like this case in point I'm not the biggest fan of illmatic but if I'd put it top 3-5 becuz the overwhelming consensus is that's where it belongs so it deserve it's spot just taking albums that are overwhelming consensus albums out just for the sake of you don't wanna go with the consensus is a flawed logic becuz there's a reason they are wisely picked and it's not becuz ppl just picking em it's becuz they deserve it

I've never subscribe to the thought process that if you have a top 5 albums that's everybody top 5 then you just being generic no you picking the best 5 which is the point

There were a lot of 80s albums that made a big impact on the Hip Hop community. But the Hip Hop community was smaller. Top 40 radio wasn't playing Hip Hop so if you were a fan you had to go out and seek Hip Hop.

Its top 3 all time. It might not be the absolute best, you could argue some albums are better sonically or lyrically, but It Takes A Nation Of Millions is easily the most creative album of all time.

A good top 5 might be

Na duke...it is about yourself because you suppose to be giving YOUR top 20 albums..not what everybody probably think is..and that is my main point that it looked like what you said in the bolded actually did happen...which then screws up that list when the total votes are tallied...If you dont think Illmatic is top 5 then you shouldnt put it if asked..If it is then voted on and makes it there..you then can say I have no arguement and just agree to disagree..

If i think Midnight Mauraders is better than Dre 2001 or Imfamous is better than Stillmatic.im not voting for Dre n Nas cause..thats what nigguhs was saying or I heard im voting what I think is better..then we tally them votes and see what happens .and if either dont make it then kool more heads liked those better np..but im not gonna give them 2 albums votes cause its nas n dre or thats what the consensus is..
