Ready to Die is a top 3 or top 5 album in hip-hop history. RTD is a absolute classic and a landmark in hip-hop history and then Biggie followed that up with another classic album.

Capital Punishment is a classic album and I do think Big Pun is a Legend, but Biggie in a short span made a bigger impact.

Biggie ran with Puff Daddy & Bad Boy. Big Pun ran with terror squad. The marketability was on two different levels. & not every1 fucks with pun's rapid fire type flow

Sore topic but biggie wus better to the people. Probably cuz he rapped alil slower. His second album was better than puns second imo and im rican.

Not to mention biggie crossed over in a major way.

Big was the number 1 or 2 cat in the game his entire career. Pun was never the number 1 cat in the game.

Both Big albums are classics and arguably both are top 10 of alltime, Pun only had one and it doesnt compare to either of Bigs.

Summary: Big had better albums and a bigger impact and influence on the game.

Being nicer in hip hop seems to includes your impact, hit songs popular etc...

It could be argued Pun is lyrically nicer, far as word play and wit. Biggie had a better flow though. Pun voice was a little annoying. Lol

Because BIG changed the game, the beef with pac help also.after BIG died..they're were a lot of MCs using some of big lines in their verses(one of the most biting nigga in the rap game)... big release 2 classic albums...not just classic albums.. 2 of the best albums in hip hop/music history..like I said before...that's like mike winning championships 91 and 92.big is a complete mc.(I've never heard a wack verse from chris wallace yo).radio, storytelling, street shit, kills features and etc.son was nice.pun was a complete mc too..but where's he's lacking.. is the same impact as big and his second album wasn't a classic

Does anybody consider Pun's first album classic?

Pun was one of the greats no doubt, but what do we consider classics? I can't name 10 songs of that album from the top of my head, let alone 5.

And which one of them gets played on the regular? not counting singles. Pun doesn't have the recognizable

"if you don't know, now you knoww nigga!"

"Damn niggas tryin stick me for my paper"

"Gimme the loot gimmie the loot"

quotes

Only classic line I can think of when reciting a pun album is "I'm not a player a just fuck a lot"
