I agree Lopez is going to be a star. But when you're on a team with four wins in late January you deserve to be overlooked.

You guys act like its his fault. Lopez busts his ass night in and night out. He is the only consistent player on the Nets. All of the free agents should want to come to the Nets because they get to play with one of the best Centers in the NBA. Everybody knows the key to winning an NBA Title is a good big man. And the Nets have exactly that.

once they get rid of Devin harris, and get a pass-first point guard (or maybe john wall with the #1 pick if they get it) all they gonna need is a consistent perimeter scorer and some team defense to be a playoff caliber team....so yea if i was a bigname freeagent i'd consider goin to the Nets

bolded is either a player that isnt a real center only plays that for the team but their player card says PF, or just not better than Brook Lopez

but lemme clear it up...Al Jefferson is a Power forward, and hes still not better than Brook Lopez
Duncan is the greatest POWER FORWARD of all time
David Lee is a PF
Pau Gasol is a PF
Amare is a PF and Brook Lopez is better than him to
Chris Kaman is nice i wont front, but i dnt think hes better than Lopez

Al Jefferson is listed as Center...and tho his numbers aren't currently better than Brooks at the moment he has shown that he's better and he's fresh off an injury

Duncan plays center as well as Pf...and the biggest part of his game...defense is usually against other teams centers...in fact he switched from center to foward so he wasn't snubbed as an all star starter last year...quit nitpicking.

David Lee is listed as a center

Pau Gasol has started as Center when Bynum was out....and he plays center when Bynum is on the bench...and he defends centers...he's the tallest player on the Lakers. Odom and powell are the only true PF's on the Lakers. Quit nitpicking.

Amare only played PF early in his career or when he played with shaq...other than that he's always been a center I believe he's the starting center for this years allstar game...and he's clearly superior to Brook Lopez. C'mon now.

Chris Kaman is putting up superior numbers than Lopez and he plays with another center in Marcus Camby.

Quit nitpicking...Hakeem Olajawon would be considered a PF if we were to go by that logic...rarely in todays game does a center not switch to the 4 every now and then. Brook is nice...but your turning this into some kinda espn stat.

1st off.. Amare is NOT better than Brook Lopez.. you craaaazy. have you seen him play lately? He has zero hunger right now
David Lee is not a C either. Hes what, 6'9? Its only because hes on the knicks that he gets labeled as a C
Al Jefferson is playing out of position too. They got nobody else to play at C lol

Which leaves Duncan, Gasol, and Kaman as the reamaining C's. Add Dwight to that and you got the top 5

Howard, Gasol, Duncan, Lopez, Kaman

I'm not so sure that Bynum is better than Lopez. Bynum has not proven that he can stay healthy. Lopez is also putting up better numbers while being the #1 option on the team. Bynum is the #3 option, and who knows if he would put up good numbers if it wasn't for his supporting cast. Also, Lopez is in his 2nd year while Bynum is in his 4th or 5th. Lopez is already ahead of the curve.

Like I said, I'm not convinced that Bynum is better than Lopez, and if he is then it's marginal.

And Lopez is better than Kaman & Lee.

Amare is better than Lopez...stop reachin...just cause he ain't been playin like Amare of the past don't make him out to be trash dookie...

Let's see the last 3 games...43 points 15 rebs...to brooks 44 and 16...such parity (sarcasm)...now watch the next few games as Amare surpasses brook...also has better season numbers than Brook.

David lee is listed as a C. Nothing else matters...but I'll entertain that. Was Magic Johnson a Pg at 6'10...was charles barkley a pf at 6'3. David Lee had 17 rebounds against the Lakers...fuck how tall he is...6'9 can still be a Center...plays like a center...listed at center...must be a center. You switch Brook Lopez to a team with a 7 footer and boom he's a pf like his identical twin on the suns.

And you forgot Bynum off that last little list of yours.

You guys are treating this like an espn stat.

Bynum has a much better post game, better defender and is a better athlete...period...as far as numbers go if bynum was a #1 option and had the minutes Lopez had...he'd easily have better numbers...anyone whose watched Lakers games as much as me would agree. As far as Bynum being injury prone...not true...it ain't like he's fallin apart...if he happened to have one knee injury then the next year Kobe fell on his other one. Freak accident. Bynums first years he didn't play...and you can bet your ass if Brook Lopez played in with phil as his coach he'd be right where bynum was his first years. Bynum is only the 3rd option cuz he's on the Lakers...most other teams he'd hands down be a #1 option.

Kaman is putting up better numbers and so is Lee...and Lee is clearly better...have you seen him play...you buggin.

Magic was a PG,the Lakers never had to fill that PG position. Barkely was a PF for that same reason. David Lee is a PF, playing C because his team needs him to, meaning if they had a chance at getting a true C, they would. It dont matter though, hes not better than Lopez.

Bynum.. For whatever reason, hes just been a disappointment to me. I guess im expecting a little too much from him. He just dont look like he wants to play ball anymore.

David Lee is listed as a center...he's a better scorer than brook, a better shooter than brook, a better rebounder than brook...better slasher than brook...better at drawing fouls than brook...quicker than brook... and about the same defensewise as brook, has better numbers overall...has better numbers in the past few games...what else need be said.

Bynum dropped 27 and 12 tonight...22 in the 1st half... are u kidding me?
