Al Jefferson is listed as Center...and tho his numbers aren't currently better than Brooks at the moment he has shown that he's better and he's fresh off an injury
Duncan plays center as well as Pf...and the biggest part of his game...defense is usually against other teams centers...in fact he switched from center to foward so he wasn't snubbed as an all star starter last year...quit nitpicking.
David Lee is listed as a center
Pau Gasol has started as Center when Bynum was out....and he plays center when Bynum is on the bench...and he defends centers...he's the tallest player on the Lakers. Odom and powell are the only true PF's on the Lakers. Quit nitpicking.
Amare only played PF early in his career or when he played with shaq...other than that he's always been a center I believe he's the starting center for this years allstar game...and he's clearly superior to Brook Lopez. C'mon now.
Chris Kaman is putting up superior numbers than Lopez and he plays with another center in Marcus Camby.

Quit nitpicking...Hakeem Olajawon would be considered a PF if we were to go by that logic...rarely in todays game does a center not switch to the 4 every now and then. Brook is nice...but your turning this into some kinda espn stat.

Al Jefferson is a power forward, before Kevin Love came back from injury Al went back to normal Position while Ryan Hollins played center
Duncan is still a POWER FORWARD, just cus he plays some center doesnt negate the fact that he is and will be known as the greatest power forward to ever play in the league
David Lee is 6'9 hes a power forward, he only starts at center cus the taller player on the knicks are TERRIBLE
Pau Gasol would be border line, i cus i think he used to play center in Memphis...so I'll give u him, even though Bynum is the real center on that team
Amare is a PF nigga, he played PF when he 1st got there, then switched to center but shawn marion was playin power forward, dont tell me u really think that makes sense! and he switched it for them to list him at center this year so he can finally get an allstar game spot (Robin Lopez is the starter at center for the Suns, earlier in the year it was Channing Frye)
and yes Kaman is puttin up great #s i didnt deny that, but dont try and talk about Camby, Camby doesnt even take shots anymore...

So, at the end of all this Brook Lopez is still a top 5 center in the league

another pick mj screwed up. lopez was there for the taking and mj takes dj augustin. the bobcats would be a lock for the playoffs with lopez

DJ Augustin is nice though, it was just a dumb pick cus they already had Raymond Felton

You might have a point with Bynum, but i'm still not sold. And everytime Lopez & Bynum match up, Lopez gets the best of him. But it's whatever.

The only thing Kaman has over Lopez is scoring. Kaman has 19.4 PPG to Lopez 19.0. Lopez has him beat in every category.

David Lee is a bit overrated. Lopez is a much better center and more complete than David Lee, who absolutely ZERO defense. Every time Knicks and Nets play each other, Lopez manhandles Lee like a little child. Lopez is a Center you can use as a cornerstone for a championship, Lee is not.

WTF...nigga, change ya location to jersey or someshit

how could David lee be overrated though? the nigga is 6'9 playin center and averaging a double-double, the Knicks arent to far out in the playoff race (even though in the east that aint sayin much)....and cmon son if Brook Lopez couldnt get the best of David lee when they matchup then it'd be a huge problem being that hes like 7'1 or some shit and hes a traditional back to the basket center, David Lee should be a powerforward but hes aggressive can hit the midrange shot and can rebound with the best of em

wtf?....this is Marc Gasol's first good year and u put him over Brook Lopez?
and Al Horford is another PF playing out of position

Lopez was solid 13,8, and 2blocks in his rookie year
this year he is at 19,9, and 2 blocks

Lee is good, but i'm not sold on him. He's an energy guy who doesn't have much talent or finesse. He gets rebounds because nobody else on the Knicks can/will. And the thing that hurts Lee IMO is that he plays ZERO DEFENSE.

he is talented, if u were a Knick fan that watches knicks games you'd know that he doesnt just score off putbacks anymore....he can hit that midrange jumpshot consistently and he can get by bigger defenders which is the reason hes averagin 19/11 right now.....and he does defend, but how the hell can he really lock somebody up that got him by 4-5 inches (nh lol) and 50pounds???

he might not be the guy that you'd wanna build your team around, but hes definitely a guy you want if your trying to build a championship contender

Al Jefferson
Tim Duncan (just dropped 21 points and 27 rebs)
David Lee

Andrew Bynum
Pau Gasol
Dwight Howard
Amare stoudamire
Chris Kaman

Off top
The bolded players are PF's. And the only center better than Brook Lopez is Dwight Howard. I think Chris Kaman is less skilled

Gasol and Lopez are similar he was 11,7 as a rookie... and just now settling into the NBA style, but the difference is that the Grizzlies are WINNING and Lopez is just racking up meaningless stats. Plus Gasol plays a more physical style which leads to influencing the opposing team to not drive to the paint which helps to WIN. Lopez is playing in the EAST with Devin Harris, Douglas Roberts, Courtney Lee and Yi... they should have at least 10 wins by now. You cant be a top 5 ANYTHING and your team has 4 wins...

And stop it with all of this playing out of position BS... If we go by your logic Magic Johnson really wasn't a PG he was a great passing SF like Lebron.

ok...the Grizzlies are winning, BUT u havent taken into account the fact that Devin harris, Douglas-Roberts, Lee, and Yi were ALL injured in the beginning of the year.....Harris is playin like hes a bum, Yi aint shit he just started playin well a few games ago.....LOL @ at least 10wins though that was funny

and son, by my logic Magic was still a PG, cus he CAME INTO THE LEAGUE AS A POINT GUARD, did David Lee, Tim Duncan, Al Jefferson, Amare Stoudamire, and Pau Gasol come into the league as centers????....no
