Al Jefferson is a power forward, before Kevin Love came back from injury Al went back to normal Position while Ryan Hollins played center

Duncan is still a POWER FORWARD, just cus he plays some center doesnt negate the fact that he is and will be known as the greatest power forward to ever play in the league

David Lee is 6'9 hes a power forward, he only starts at center cus the taller player on the knicks are TERRIBLE

Pau Gasol would be border line, i cus i think he used to play center in Memphis...so I'll give u him, even though Bynum is the real center on that team

Amare is a PF nigga, he played PF when he 1st got there, then switched to center but shawn marion was playin power forward, dont tell me u really think that makes sense! and he switched it for them to list him at center this year so he can finally get an allstar game spot (Robin Lopez is the starter at center for the Suns, earlier in the year it was Channing Frye)

and yes Kaman is puttin up great #s i didnt deny that, but dont try and talk about Camby, Camby doesnt even take shots anymore...

So, at the end of all this Brook Lopez is still a top 5 center in the league

I disagree but to each his own. If your listed at the center position, you run the plays designed for a center...you have the skillset of a center...and you play center for extended periods of time...that makes you a center...anyone who disagrees with that is just nitpicking so they can say brook lopez is a top 5 center...

He has been having a great season and is one of our few bright spots. I just hate when people say he is only putting up points because the team sucks.

exactly. Brook Lopez is the only consistent player on the Nets. And we are not talking about the team, we are talking about an individual.

good point with Ben wallace, but ben wallace was a strong ass nigga....Griffin aint as strong as him

Marcus Camby is the starting center right now i think....i think Kaman is starting at the 4 right now, or maybe the other way around....but Kaman is a natural center and Camby is gon most likely get traded b4 the deadline

So if he was in a system of a winning team where there are potentially 2 other scoring options do you think his numbers would be the same? Lets be realistic here...

With his low post ability how would you not look to give him the ball as much as possible, and depending on where he is playing his numbers would be more or less, but either way he would be effective because he is a smart player, he has an understanding about positioning, great footwork, great hands, he can shoot from 15-17 ft, great back to the basket game, and defensively he is solid, he is strong enough to maintain his position when being backed down, and he is a really good shot blocker and rebounder.

I would take a healthy Chris Kaman over him any day. Plus after watching the Nets game tonight the above you mentioned is invalid its all about consistency in the NBA just ask Vince Carter.
