Only 10 QB's in NFL HISTORY have WON more games than DONOVAN MCNABB......

Jim Johnson was the key to the Eagles early-2000s success. Don't let anybody tell you different. The last time they went to the chip game Jim Johnson was coaching. The last time they won a playoff game....Jim Johnson was coaching.

ask around Philly, white or black fans, you'll be hard pressed to find anybody that believes McNabb's this HOF lock some of ya'll consider him to be

Cunningham deserves to get in before McNabb IMHO.

lets be honest Mcnabb couldnt handle the pressure of taking it to the next level any winner knows that its when your on the last stretch thats when it really counts

he was a season warrior and a post season dud with a sorry attitude about it

he deserves the criticism he gets

I didn't know qb's had weapons on defense...... hmmm... interesting...

Team game sucka.

That franchise was built around the Defense. The offense, including McNabb, just went for the ride and constantly cost the dominant D a chance at the ship.

Thats BS McNabb was a big part of their sucess u dont go 2 4 NFC Championships from managing a game. McNabb has always been a consisent QB its funny how ppl 4get Vick has good season w/ Eagles everybody jumps on his d*ck. But when they lose he gets half the criticism as McNabb did and they actually went Super Bowl w/ him. In 2004 he was the 1st QB in HISTORY to have 30 TD's and under 10 interceptions that doesnt sound like QB along 4 the ride.

- mcnabb, jus like a ol skool negro kept his head down and did his job. cant get too mad at that because I know if ever he picked his head up and spoke his mind the league woulda been found a way to punish

- when your RB is your most consistent receiver, I think you deserve more credit as a QB for having to work with Tod Pinkston,Jason Avant,Freddie Mitchel, Reggie Brown, Kevin Curtis, LJ Smith and James Thrash

- I aslo think you deserve some credit when you a QB that is drafted to a team with bad OL play and that OL is rather ever consistent for the next decade. You do know gettin sacked a helluva lot can fuck up a QB's timing and rhythm

Yes Donovan had a great Defense cause Jim Johnson is Legend but to act like he was just "Managing" for 11 years is a joke. Donovan has one of the best TD-INT ratio's in NFL HISTORY. As someone mentioned he became the 1st QB EVER to throw for 30 TD's and less than 10 INT's, after Mcnabb, Brady and Farve has been the only ones to do it. Looks like Arron Rodgers may do it this year but the fact is Donovan did it 1st. He still hold's the record for most consecutive pass completed. If you look at his overall stats, he's top 25 or less in NFL HISTORY in passing yards, attempts, Completions, TD's, rushing yards for a QB and Rushing TD's. There have been over 1,000 starting QB's to play this game, yet look at where Donovan is at, how was he not great?

Again to say he was just a manager is riduclious. Considering the lack of weapons he had on Offense, his numbers are even more remarkable. Westbrook didn't come into the picture until Mcnabb's 4th Year, T.O. didn't come till his 6th so outside of Brady, Mcnabb did the most with less. Where was that great Defense in the Super Bowl? Where were that great Defense in the NFC Title games? The fact is Donovan got the blame in the losses but look at all the wins he's gotten, that's not a fluke. You do not win 107 NFL Games and be an average player? As for someone mentinoed Drew Bledsoe, well he has more losses than wins so Donovan is definitely better than him. Also just because he didn't win the title doesn't mean he was a post-season dud. How many QB's ever won 9 playoff games? On yea, only 10. No matter how you slice it, Donovan numbers put him in an elite class in NFL history.

Cosigned this post.

Looking at his stats from this site:http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/McNaDo00.htm and how he compares to his contemporaries, I don't see how he shouldn't get in.

2 John Elway 148 82 1 + 14 7 = 162-89-1.........1987 NFL MVP, 2 time SB Champion and SB MVP

3 Dan Marino 147 93 0 + 8 10 = 155-103..........Wont even dignify comparing McNabb to Marino with a response

4 Peyton Manning 141 67 0 + 9 10 = 150-77..........SB Champ/MVP, 4 time NFL MVP, the GOAT

5 Tom Brady 119 35 0 + 14 5 = 133-40..........3 time SB Champ, 2 time SB MVP, 2 time NFL MVP. Joe Montana Jr

6 Joe Montana 117 47 0 + 16 7 = 133-54..........4 time SB Champ, 3 time SB MVP, 2 time NFL MVP. The King of Clutch

8 Johnny Unitas 118 64 4 + 6 2 = 124-66-4.......... I hear he was the Peyton Manning of his generation. Good enough for me

9 Terry Bradshaw 107 51 0 + 14 5 =121-56..........Never thought he was that good, but 4x SB Champ, 2x SB MVP, 1978 NFL MVP

10 Jim Kelly 101 59 0 + 9 8 = 110-67..........4 SB appearances

11 Donovan McNabb 98 62 1 + 9 7 =107-69-1..........blows chunks in the biggest game of his life and one hops balls in the dirt

HOF for killing the most worms out of all qb's in nfl history.

t/s why didnt you show who is tie with him in wins?

its drew bledsoe....would you say hes a HOF qb?

i thought so.

Bledose also has about 30 more losses than McNabb, lower completion percentage than McNabb, lower QB rating by 8 points, lower YPA than McNabb, and I'm not even going to touch on the rushing difference.

I am truly on the fence with this one cause McNabb did his thing and helped them to 4 NFC championships I think?

But in the end he did blow chunks in the biggest game of his career. Like he Willy Beaman or something.

He never won the super bowl though, and that's what really counts.

Bruh that really is your criteria?

Of course it's not the whole picture. But you can't group him with the greats, like the thread starter did. And it's because he didn't win it.
