Serius vs Day was about even. Day's first was good and second was crazy. Serius edged the first and lost the second b/c of the biting. The third is hard to call...they kinda fucked up the integrity of the battle toward the end.

I respect how Serius was a pro through it all though.

Cass say some shit and look at you wit the ugly face and his voice and delivery be on like 10. Back in 06 I was high as hell and rewatching the Cass vs Freeway battle. I called my girl and told her that Cassidy was the greatest rapper of all time. She was trippin talkin bout I was high and all kind of other shit but anyways man that battle let me know what delivery was really about. When that nigga said I'll burn each one outta these/your whole head'll crack like sunflower seeds.....bruh....a lotta niggas couldna made that bar sound like that. They woulda said it too fast they wouldna put the proper emphasis on the word crack, man it's a science to this battle rap shit. That's why it don't matter if he spittin up to date bars or not....now ya man Busta Rhymes....nobody would beat that nigga....it would be completely ignorant. I hope these niggas don't jump in the ring with him and get embarrassed.

That's how a culture grow. People take interest. I ain't start payin attention for real until I accidentally clicked on that lux vs calicoe a couple years ago. I'm not as invested, or as immersed a fan as many of you guys, but I enjoy the art, and the sport of it. It's about as pure hip hop as youre going to get, I just hope it stays underground, anytime big money invades an art, the art suffers.

Most people been watching battle rap since Mook on Smack.

I'm glad grindtime got shut down....that shit was watered down as fuck. They let anybody get out there. I'm completely satisfied with where battle rap is. Some niggas complain cuz they don't want it commercialized but you can't stop that. If Nas say he wanna battle he'll get a million dollars. Same with a lot of big name industry niggas, but you can't be mad at that. It's simply supply and demand. The Smack battle rappers will still drop classic battles and some niggas will rise to the top. With more exposure will come more new fans. Aint shit wrong with that.

It isn't good or bad that ppl take an interest when battle culture is promoted mainstream, but a lot of ppl will only pay attention to these celebrity battles and not really checking for the culture as a whole.
