Anyway I'm late. Watched the battles choke fests. These emcees should be ashamed of themselves. I thought emcees always had rhymes on deck as backup. If you can't remember some new stuff you wrote within the past several hours you should at least have a good 16-32 bars about how dope you are, what your life's like, etc. so you can showcase some lyrical ability and wordplay.

And Marvwon used to freestyle and have jokes and just have fun with it. Surprised he couldn't improvise.

Rex is proving that he's not the least bit scared of the moment and he stays on his job getting rhymes together. His style is pretty blunt so he ain't racking his brain trying to create all kinds of schemes and wordplay.

Rex comes from the era of impromptu battles, he's in his element when it comes to this type of show. His wordplay's never been that great anyway, so prep time doesn't mean much to him either.
