the 5 o clock shadow bar got a huge reaction. even clips nodded but that shit was terrible lol

and smh @ Tay Rock usin apple/mac lines in 2014.

Clips Nate Dogg bar was terrible

Clips has simple bars but mostly because of his set ups. Clips has presence with jokes, angles, schemes, punches and bars all mixed in. he rarely falls flat because his punches cover up his weak set ups or predictable bars.

I got Clips 3-0, but Roc came nice every round. Clips is in peak form right now though.

The line was wack. It's not even that I couldn't get gist of what he was saying. The way he put it together was lazy which makes it a weak line.

Tay Roc is brilliant with the wordplay and it's a marvel to watch him work, but what holds him back is exactly what Clips said in the battle, he's too one-dimensional. It's his only line of attack. It ceases to become interesting battle rap if all your hardest hitting bars could be directed at any rapper. At the end of the day, he isn't really saying anything. You just kind of sit back and marvel at his technical wizardry from a cold distance. He doesn't really engage you though.

That's what makes Clips such a total package MC. He tailored his bars for Roc, even the more generic bars were filtered through a broader scheme designed as either a personal attack or was somehow directly relevant to the battle at hand. Plus, Clips' delivery is just too ill.

That's what makes clips great at his best,even his set ups use to have funny lines that hit.

Now he uses more set ups just to get to the punch

That's also a strength Hollow has.he may be cracking jokes in the set up that are quick jabs then hit with the KO.

Clips can beat Rex,but only if it's Ayeverb Clips

Clips is one of my favorite battle rappers right now, but he's definitely not undefeated. You can't go by what a rapper says. Hell, I think he even lost to Serius Jones lol.

Yea that battle was debatable, I gave it to clips tho. I predicted Clips would beat tay roc, but Im leaning towards roc. Im bout to start up a movement , so we can get smack to have these battles judged. They have no argument to why they shouldnt..

I'm cool with having judges at battles, but it's not like that resolves a debatable. It's not like a judge can somehow pass down a verdict that's final and irrefutable to individual opinion.

Clips only has 3 debatable battles to me.......

serius jones bmagic and tayroc

I can give clips a slight edge over jones and roc but I feel like he clearly

lost against magic, especially the way he was acting on stage sweating

choking words, interrupting magic while he rap........

But than again clips was saying some shit .......he might of edged the

magic battle.....

at the end of the day clips doesnt have a clear lost against no opponent

Anyway

I would of love to see tay roc vs tsu surf with surf on his a game like when

he was against hollow

LIke UFF, niggas can debate on those battles if they want but at the end of the day one went home with an L and one didnt . If they bring in repsectable people of the culture it shouldnt be an issue. Plus thatll attract more fans having respected mainstream judges.
